Section 3: HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
This product is a consumer product. To the extent the product is used in a fashion typical to that of a
consumer, protective measures, with the exception of those indicated on the label, are not normally
necessary. Where use conditions and/or extent and duration of exposure differ from typical consumer
use, however, appropriate protective measures to prevent eye and prolonged skin contact (glasses,
goggles, rubber gloves, protective clothing) and minimize inhalation exposure (engineering controls,
NIOSH-approved respiratory protection appropriate for the hazard presented) are recommended.
General:
Emergency:
Primary Route(s) of Entry: Eyes, Ingestion, Skin
Effects of Overexposure-
Inhalation:
Not expected with normal use conditions.
Effects of Overexposure-
Ingestion:
Irritation to blistering of mucosal membranes. Pain, vomiting,
diarrhea, CNS depression.
Effects of Overexposure-Eyes: Irritation, pain on brief exposure, corneal damage on extended
exposure.
Effects of Overexposure-Skin: No adverse effects expected on intact skin. Contact on a burn or
other wound likely to cause stinging pain or irritation. Extended
exposure may discolor skin, temporarily.
