Description of Events:
Tug-of-war:
Exactly the event it sounds like. Show up and play a round or a few.
Points are awarded for participating.
Gaga:
Gaga is a game played in a hexagonal pit with one or more balls. All
the players start out with a hand on the pit wall as the ball is tossed in. From
there the ball is allowed to bounce three times before players swat the ball at
each other using only their hands and attempting to hit other players below
their knees. If a player is hit they must exit the pit until the next round. Last
one standing is the winner. Show and play a round or a few. Points are
awarded for participating.
Capture the flag:
A scouting classic with a new twist, this version uses soccer balls as
flags and is played on a soccer field seize area. An equal amount of balls is
given to each team and they line up their balls in the back on there half of the
field. When the go signal is given players attempt to steal balls from the
opposing team by touching the ball before they are tagged. Should they
succeed they are allowed to walk back to their own side. Should they fail,

6

they freeze and wait to be tagged free by a teammate. The objective is to steal
all the balls. Show and play a round or a few. Points are awarded for
participating.
Survival Bracelets:
Craft original bracelets out off over 8 feet of parachord to wear during
your next hike or everyday life. Should the event arise where you need rope,
(shelter making, fire building, lost hair tie) then you will be in good shape.
Points are awarded when each present member of the crew has made a
bracelet.
XC Race:
Points are awarded based on finishing position. Kilts for the kilt run
will be provided. Should you desire to race in a kilt other than the Campbell
tartan you may bring your own. Racing in scout pants/ scout uniform is
acceptable.
Scavenger Hunt:
Descriptions listed after the events. Please collect the signatures of
people who currently have the rank or award. Turn in papers the night of the
second cracker barrel.
Star Wars Trivia:
Test your knowledge of Star Wars by answering as many consecutive
questions on planets, characters, and plot as possible. Points will go to the
top three Crews who answer the most consecutive questions correctly.
Woodsman competitions: (log throwing)
Toss cabers as far as possible. Each crewmember will attempt to toss
a caber as far as possible. The top 10 throws of the day earn points for their
team.

of which is recorded, then the crew shall receive 5 points for each cache.
Acceptable evidence is a selfie.
