Certificate of Compliance August 14, 2017 Anaheim Automation Compliance with REACH statement: REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is a European Union Commission regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006) that was entered into force on June 1, 2007 and updated July 12, 2017 (174 SVHC). REACH's principal goal is to improve the protection of human health and environment through the better and earlier identification of intrinsic properties of chemical substances. Anaheim Automation assures its customers that its products are in full compliance with REACH requirements. Anaheim Automation products are "Articles" as defined by in REACH, Article 3(3). Under REACH, "Article" suppliers must provide recipients with information on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) if those substances are present above a concentration limit of 0.1% on an article level. Anaheim Automation has reviewed the requirements under REACH and has determined the following: At this time Anaheim Automation has no knowledge that our products contain any of the SVHCs which need to be pre-registered Reach largely does not have an impact on Anaheim Automation as REACH is intended to target raw materials/chemicals and not necessarily end products. All Anaheim Automation products meet the definition of "Article" under REACH. Registration of substances in Articles in not required under REACH for the below reasons: The substances present in Anaheim Automation products are in quantities totaling less than 1 tonne per producer or importer per year The substances present in Anaheim Automation products are not intended to be released under normal or reasonably foreseeable condition of use. The substances present in Anaheim Automation products do not exceed a concentration of 0.1% weight by weight (w/w) Anaheim Automation is largely dependent upon our diverse supply chain for relevant chemical composition, but the above information is to the best of our knowledge accurate. Anaheim Automation will continue to monitor our supply chain for continual compliance with the REACH directive and will inform you of any changes. If necessary, Anaheim Automation will also continue to work with our suppliers to insure that the European Chemicals Agency is notified of all SVHCs to comply with the REACH requirement. This statement is provided for informational purposes only and is not intended to create legal obligations between Anaheim Automation and external parties. Anaheim Automation believes the information above to be true and accurate as of the date of this statement. Anaheim Automation also believes related statements in published Anaheim Automation compliance-related documentation, including but not limited to any material composition data, MSDS, laboratory and testing reports, to be valid and accurate as of the date of this statement, but makes no representation to the completeness or accuracy of information provided herein to the extent such information is provided by Anaheim Automation third party suppliers.
