This is to inform you that DSC is releasing the RF5501-433 keypad with integrated 433 MHz
wireless receiver as a replacement for the LCD5501Z32-433. We will begin to ship the
RF5501-433 over the next few months as inventory of the LCD5501Z32-433 is depleted.
In addition to being a replacement, the new RF5501-433 offers many enhancements
including:
-

One dedicated PGM output (not supported on the Power432 control panel)
One programmable input/output terminal (used as zone or PGM)
A built-in low temperature sensor (alarm at 6°C or 43°F, restoral at 9°C or 48°F)

The LCD backlighting has been removed, but the overall appearance and all other features
remain the same as the LCD5501Z32-433.
The new keypad requires an RF5501-433 v5.0 Driver Pack for the DLS2002 software, which
can be downloaded from the password-protected area of the DSC Web site at
www.dscsec.com/dls_drivers.htm.
