Batteries
This appliance operates on two 1.5 volt
batteries. For best performance, use
alkaline manganese batteries (type LR 6,
AM 3, MN 1500 or size AA alkaline, e. g.
Duracell
®
). These batteries provide a
shaving capacity of approx. 60 minutes.
To open the battery cover (6), turn it 90° as
shown in (c). Insert batteries with the poles
in the direction marked. Close the battery
cover.
Note: Never leave batteries in the shaver
for long periods of time when the shaver is
not in use (danger of leakage). Take empty
batteries out of the shaver immediately.
To protect the environment, dispose
of empty batteries at your retail store
or at appropriate collection sites
according to national or local regulations.
This appliance is suitable for use
in a bath or shower. When using it
in a shower, we recommend that
you apply shaving foam or gel.
Shaving
Turn the twisting protective cap (4) (a) until
it clicks in place as shown (b). To switch the
shaver on, push the on/off switch (3) up.
Long hair trimmer
Use the extendable long hair trimmer (5) for
exact trimming of side burns and mous-
taches. To operate, slide the long hair
trimmer to the right (e) and turn on the
appliance. After use, slide it back until it
engages.
Cleaning and maintenance
For optimum shaving performance, clean
the shaver after each use:
Cleaning under running water
Turn on the shaver and hold the shaver
head under warm running water (f). You
may also use liquid soap. Rinse off all foam
and let the shaver run for a few more
seconds. Then turn it off and remove the
shaver foil (1) as shown (g) and let it dry.
If you often clean your shaver under
running water, put a drop of light machine
oil onto the shaver foil.
Cleaning with the brush
Remove the shaver foil (1) and tap it gently
against a flat surface. Then thoroughly
clean the cutter block (2) with the brush (7)
as shown in (i). Do not clean the shaver foil
with the brush as this may damage it.

After cleaning, turn the twisting protective
cap (4) 180° to cover the shaving head.
In this position, the on/off switch is
automatically locked to avoid accidental
operation of the shaver (e. g. when
travelling).

In the event a Braun Shaver fails to
function within 2 years from date of
purchase, because of defects in
material or workmanship, and the
consumer returns the unit to an
authorized service center, Braun
Canada, will, at its option, either
repair or replace the unit without
additional charge to the consumer.
This guarantee does not cover any
product, which has been damaged by
dropping, tampering, wrong current,
servicing performed or attempted by
unauthorized service agencies,
misuse or abuse,
kinks in the shaver
foil as well as the normal wear of
the shearing parts.
Exclusion of Warranties:
The
foregoing warranty is the sole
warranty offered by Braun Canada.
Braun Canada hereby disclaims any
implied warranty or merchantability
or fitness for any particular purpose.
In no event will Braun Canada be
responsible for consequential
damages resulting from the use of
this product.

Piles
Cet appareil fonctionne à l’aide de deux
piles de 1,5 volt. Pour une performance
optimale, utiliser des piles alcalines au
manganèse (type LR 6, AM 3, MN 1500 ou
alcalines AA, p. ex. Duracell
®
). Ces piles
offrent une durée de rasage d’environ
60 minutes. Pour ouvrir le couvercle des
piles (6), le tourner à 90° conformément
à l’illustration (c). Introduire les piles en
mettant les pôles dans la direction
indiquée. Fermer le couvercle des piles.
Remarque : Ne jamais laisser les piles dans
le rasoir pendant une longue période de
temps s’il n’est pas utilisé (risque de fuite).
Retirer immédiatement les piles épuisées
du rasoir.
Pour protéger l’environnement,
retourner les piles épuisées au
magasin de détail ou à un centre
de collecte approprié, conformément
aux règlements locaux ou nationaux.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé dans
la baignoire ou la douche. Lorsque
le rasoir est utilisé dans la douche,
nous recommandons l’application d’une
mousse ou d’un gel à raser.
Rasage
Tourner le capuchon pivotant protecteur (4)
(a) jusqu’à ce qu’il s’enclenche, confor-
mément à l’illustration (b). Pour allumer le
rasoir, pousser l’interrupteur marche-arrêt
(3) vers le haut.
Tondeuse pour poils longs
Utiliser la tondeuse extensible pour poils
longs (5) pour tailler avec précision les
favoris et la moustache. Pour mettre la
tondeuse en marche, la glisser vers la
droite (e) et allumer l’appareil. Après
l’emploi, la replacer en la faisant glisser
jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’enclenche.
Nettoyage et entretien
Pour un rasage optimal, nettoyer le rasoir
après chaque utilisation :
Nettoyage à l’eau du robinet
Allumer le rasoir et tenir la tête de rasage
sous le jet d’eau chaude (f). Il est également
possible d’utiliser du savon liquide. Rincer
pour enlever toute la mousse et laisser l
e rasoir fonctionner pendant encore
quelques secondes. Mettre ensuite le
rasoir hors tension, retirer la grille (1)
conformément à l’illustration (g) et laisser
sécher. Si le rasoir est souvent nettoyé à
l’eau du robinet, appliquer une goutte
d’huile à machine légère sur la grille.

Nettoyage à l’aide de la brosse
Retirer la grille du rasoir (1) et la tapoter
délicatement sur une surface plate.
Nettoyer ensuite à fond le bloc de coupe (2)
à l’aide de la brosse (7), conformément à
l’illustration (i). Ne pas nettoyer la grille du
rasoir avec la brosse, car cela risque de
l’endommager.
Après le nettoyage, tourner le capuchon
pivotant protecteur (4) à 180° pour
recouvrir la tête du rasoir. Dans cette
position, l’interrupteur marche-arrêt
est automatiquement verrouillé afin
d’empêcher le fonctionnement accidentel
du rasoir (p. ex. durant un voyage).

vice de matière ou de fabrication, et
le consommateur le retourne à un
centre de service après-vente agréé,
Braun Canada se réserve le choix de
réparer ou de remplacer l’appareil
sans aucuns frais supplémentaires
pour le consommateur.
Cette garantie ne couvre pas les
produits endommagés par une
chute, une altération, l’utilisation d’un
courant inapproprié, une réparation
ou un entretien effectué ou tenté par
un centre de service après-vente non
agréé, un usage impropre ou abusif,
des anomalies dans la grille de
rasage ou l’usure normale des
pièces de la tondeuse.
Exclusion des garanties :
La
présente garantie est la seule
garantie offerte par Braun Canada.
Par la présente, Braun Canada rejette
toute garantie implicite à l’égard de la
qualité marchande ou de l’aptitude à
des fins particulières. En aucun cas

Baterías
Este aparato opera con dos baterías de
1,5 V. Para mejor desempeño use baterías
alcalinas de manganeso (tipo LR 6, AM3,
MN 1500 o AA, como Duracell
®
). Esta
baterías otorgan 60 minutos de rasurado
aproximadamente. Remueva la cubierta de
batería (6) girando 90° como se muestra en
(c). Inserte la batería con los polos en la
dirección marcada. Cierre la cubierta de
batería.
NOTA: Si el aparato no es usado por un
periodo extendido de tiempo no deje la
batería adentro (peligro de derrame). Retire
la batería vacía del aparato inmediata-
mente. Las baterías usadas no deben ser
desechadas con el desperdicio de casa.
Por favor deséchelas en los pun-
tos de recolección especiales o
regréselas a su detallista o centro de
servicio autorizado dependiendo de las
regulaciones locales.
Este aparato puede ser usado en
la regadera o tina, recomendamos
el uso de espuma o gel para
rasurar cuando se use en la regadera.
Rasurado
Gire la tapa protectora (4) (a) hasta que
haga clic como mostrado en (b). Para
encender la rasuradora, presione el botón
de encendido (3).
Recortador
Use el recortador extensible (5) para
recortar patilla y bigotes. Para usarlo,
deslice el recortador a la derecha (e) y
encienda la rasuradora. Después de usarla,
deslícela hasta que cierre.
Limpieza y mantenimiento
Para resultados óptimos, limpie la
rasuradora después de usarla.
Limpieza bajo el chorro de agua
Encienda la rasuradora y sostenga el
cabezal bajo el chorro de agua caliente (f).
Puede usar inclusive jabón líquido.
Enjuague toda la espuma y deje la rasura-
dora encendida por unos segundos más.
Apague la rasuradora y retire el foil (1)
como mostrado en (g) y deje secar.
Si limpia su rasuradora bajo el chorro de
agua ponga una gota de aceite de máquina
al foil de la rasuradora.
Limpiando con cepillo
Remueva el foil de la rasuradora (1) y
golpéela suavemente contra una superficie
plana. Limpie las cuchillas (2) con el cepillo

(7) como se muestra en (i). No limpie el foil
de la rasuradora con el cepillo ya que
puede dañarlo.
Después de limpiar, gire la tapa protectora
(4) en 180° para cubrir el cabezal de la
rasuradora. En esta posición el botón de
encendido está bloqueado para evitar
accidentes con la rasuradora (Ejemplo: en
viajes).

México se deslinda de cualquier
garantía o mercancía implicada.
