Nexark, Inc. Recalls AC Adapter for Sabrent SATA/IDE Hard Drive Enclosures
Toronto, ON – The Electrical Safety Authority is
notifying the public that Nexark, Inc. has announced a
voluntary recall of the following consumer product.
Consumers should stop using recalled products
immediately.
Name of Product: AC Adapter for Sabrent SATA/IDE
Hard Drive Enclosure
Units: Approximately 965 sold in Canada
Manufacturer/Importer: Nexark, Inc.
Hazard: The affected products have not been tested to
determine whether they are compliant with the Canadian
Standards for product safety and may pose a safety
hazard.

When was distributed: December 2010 - October 2011
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers in Canada who have this product
should dispose of the product in accordance with local
applicable laws, regulations and by-laws, and should
contact Nexark, Inc. to obtain a replacement AC adapter
at no charge.
Consumer Contact: Consumers can contact Nexark, Inc
customer service by telephone at (888) 410-3550 between
8:30 am and 5:30 pm PST, Monday through Friday, or
send an email any time to support@sabrent.com
Remarks: The recalled units are not certified to Canadian
Standards.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description/Models: AC Adapters included with the
Hard Drive Enclosures identified as Model Numbers
ECS-U35K, ECS-STU35, EC-ESU4K, EC-3US35, EC7F83 and EC-STUK.
Sold by: Amazon.ca, Canadacomputers.com, NCIX.ca,
TigerDirect.ca (either on-line or in a retail store).
