No prepayment discounts or block time discounts are applied. Block Time credit is not available to I-20 or other Non-U.S. Citizen Applicants. The below course fee’s may be subject to a Fuel Surcharge. (Tuition and all FAA Examination/Examiner fees are based on FAA minimum course times, student is responsible for overages, prices subject to change with 30 day notice) A. Fixed Wing- Private Pilot $ 8,194.00 B. Fixed Wing- Instrument Rating $ 9,397.00 C. Fixed Wing- Commercial Pilot $ 21,344.00 D. Fixed Wing – Multi-Engine $ 6,919.00 TOTAL $45,854.00 For Time Building Costs see Professional Pilot Cost Sheet Student Dorm Rates: Housing is based on a 12 month leaseHousing/Dorms – Single Occupancy Monthly Rate $625 Dorm Each Student $50 Water/power/lights (base Months Total *Student Dorm/Apartment monthly rental "per occupant" rate) 12 $8460 *Prices subject to change with 30 days notice $30 Monthly Maid Service *$40 per night for guests, advance notice and approval from Airport Manager required. *Wireless Internet – No Charge *Dorms are furnished (does not include personal items) *Dorms share common community space; bathroom, kitchen, living room *Laundry facilities on site. Students will be charged for 2 wash and 2 dry loads per week ($8.) Record washer/dryer usage on the “Laundry Record” sheet located at each washer and dryer unless the machines are coin operated. Washer $2 per load, Dryer $2 per load. Students will be billed monthly ($32) for laundry except when using coin operated washers and dryers. *Transportation for flight training, grocery/clothing, airport transport provided by Snohomish Flying Service (SFS). All other courtesy car use must be approved and will be charged at $0.55 per mile; drivers must have an International Driver’s License. *TV, DVD and Cable may be added for $35 per occupant, per month *Maid service is charged monthly $30 per occupant for the cleaning of common areas (bathrooms, kitchen and TV-DVD room.) Students may make private arrangements to have personal dorm rooms cleaned and pay maid directly. Professional maid service of common areas required monthly to treat pests, disinfect and prevent illness spread. SFS Dorm complexes are “non-smoking” facilities. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the buildings or within 25 feet of any window or door. $400 move-in non-refundable fee is charged upon arrival. This fee covers start up bedding, floor mats, bathroom towels, toiletries and kitchen maintenance supplies. $125 cleaning/sanitation fee is charged at time of move-out to make dorm ready for new arriving student (bedding change, carpet cleaning, and pesticide/sanitation treatment). $40 per night guest charge applies to visitors in student dorms. Parents’ may stay in student’s room for free for 3 nights, and then the $40 per night charge is assessed after 3 nights. Room guests must be approved in advance by the Airport Manager/Controller. Dining, Grocery and Clothing Shopping Many table service and fast food restaurants, clothing malls, drug stores and grocery stores are located near the airport. \\harveyfield.com\filecabinet\public\co - snohomish flying service\flight department\international students.sevis\cklists.handouts.student info guide\arrival info guides professional pilot\student arrival info guide 2017.docx SNOHOMISH FLYING SERVICE (SFS) Dorm/Housing Includes: Housing amenities include a furnished dorm room with bunk beds and bedding, closet, lounging chair, table, lamps, towels, floor mats, desk, and shared common areas to include living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Utility rates are listed in the student dorm rate section. Water, gas, garbage, and wireless internet are included in the student dorm rent. The electricity utility charge of $50 is a base rate. Upon receipt of utility/electric bill, the fee will be prorated per dorm unit. Smoking: SFS is a NON SMOKING facility; see management for designated smoking locations. Smoking inside dorms, school facilities, airplanes, vehicles and equipment is NOT permitted. Students must supply trash bags for garbage. Deposit your garbage in the dumpster at the airport daily. Remember student dorm guest must be approved in advance and a $40 per day fee applies. Housing and Flight Accounts: Each flight student will be set up upon arrival with two SFS accounts; one for pilot supplies and flight training, and a second account for housing/dorm expenses. Your student dorm rent will be charged to your housing/dorm expense account and your flight training and pilot supplies to your SFS flight account. If you notice an error in charges to your account, please notify Cyndy Hendrickson in the accounting department immediately. If your email address is on file, a copy of each invoice charged to your account will be automatically emailed to your email address of record.
