Install Roomie
Again, Roomie works on Android devices
Option 1
1. Go to the GitHub repository
2. Select the releases tab
3. Download the .apk file from there
4. Copy the file to your android phone
5. Install the app into the phone
Option 2 (Coming soon)
1. Open the Google Play Store
2. Tap the Apps icon on the home screen
3. Tap the magnifying glass in the top right and type in “Roomie”
4. Tap the install button at the tap to start downloading
5. Once the download and installation are complete, tap the Open button in the Play Store
listing, or tap the icon from the notification tray to open your app
Error messages and troubleshooting:
When signing up, a .edu email and at least an 8 character password are required. If these
requirements are not met, an error message will appear, this can be easily fixed by entering the
necessary inputs.
