IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical products, especially when
children are present.
WARNING: TO AVOID THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE
PRODUCT IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE RELOCATING,
SERVICING, OR CLEANING IT.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO WIDE
OUTLET SLOT AND FULLY INSERT.

This product is intended for indoor, non-commercial, household use for temporarily
heating residential rooms. Do not use the product for any other purpose.
Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product
from the electrical outlet when it is not in use.
Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product is not intended
for use by children.
Place the product on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface.
This product has hot parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or
flammable liquids are used or stored, as there may be a risk of fire or explosion.
Use the product in a well-ventilated area. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid
burns, do not let bare skin touch a hot surface. Use handle when moving this
heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper,
clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from all sides of the heater.
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any opening on the heater as this may
cause an electric shock, fire, or product damage.
Do not use this product to dry or heat clothing, shoes, pipes, or any other item.
This heater is not intended for use in damp/wet locations.
Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
Do not move the product when it is heated. Allow the product to thoroughly cool
before handling it.
Plug the product into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Do not allow the Power Cord to hang (e.g., over the edge of a table or counter) or
place/run the Power Cord under rugs, carpeting, or in high-traffic areas where it may
be tripped over or pulled.
To disconnect the product, turn the controls to the “OFF” position, then remove the
plug from the electrical outlet. Never pull on the Power Cord when disconnecting
from power outlet.
Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the product, as the
Power Cord could fray and break.
Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with wet hands.
Keep the Power Cord and product away from heated surfaces.

Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, after the heater
malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the product
to a service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
To prevent a possible fire, do not block heat in any manner. In order to avoid
overheating, do not cover the heater. Never cover the front net guard.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-
wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and
cause a risk of fire.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING! Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, fire or serious personal injury. The warnings,
cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible
conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that
common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be built into this product, but must
be supplied by the operator.
READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS!
CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-
wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and
cause a risk of fire. However if you have to use an extension cord, the cord shall be
No. 12 AWG minimum size.
The cord must be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.
ELECTRIC POWER
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliances may not operate
properly. The appliances should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
operating appliances.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
SAFETY WARNING
Although your appliance is easy to operate, for your safety, the below warnings must be
followed:
1. Do not place the appliance near a heat source.
2. Never leave the appliance unattended while connected to the electrical outlet.
3. To avoid any accidental burns, never put a hand over front net guard or cover when
the appliance is in operation.
4. Use the appliance on a stable surface away from water.
5. Do not unplug the socket by pulling on the supply cord.
6. The appliance must be unplugged:
A. Before any cleaning or maintenance
B. After use
C. If it appears to be faulty

OPERATION
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odor; this is normal and
will quickly disappear.
Operating instruction
1. Connect the power cord into 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. Locate the Power Switch on the top of the product and close to the handle. For
your safety, the heating function is controlled by a separate ON/OFF switch.
3. Press the Power Switch to “I” position. You will hear 2 beeps that will indicate the
heater is ready to use.
4. Press the Power Switch to “0” position to turn off the heater.

Heater ON/OFF Button
Press the “ ” button to turn on the fan and heater. Press again to turn the
heater and fan off. Please note that the fan may stay on to cool the heater after
use
Temperature Level Button
Press the “ ” button to switch from low setting (800W) to high setting
(1200W).
Timer Button
When the unit is on, press the “ ” button. This will allow you to set the timer
from 30 minutes to 7 1/2 hours. Each time you press this button it will add 30
minutes to the time which will show in the display window. The unit will turn off
automatically at the end of the desired timer setting.
Oscillating Button
When the unit is on, press the “ ” key. The heater will begin to oscillate
automatically. At the same time, the LED indicator light on the front panel will
be on. Press the button again to stop the oscillating function.

Remote Control Operation
Operation of remote control
Open the battery cover on the back of remote control. Insert two AAA (1.5V)
batteries into the remote control. (Please refer to the picture above).
There are 4 keys on the front of the remote control. Point the remote control at
the heater to use. (The signal strength is approximately 6 ft.). The functions are
the same as the control panel.

SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEMS
This unit has protection safeguards that shut off the unit when components become
excessively hot or if it tips over.
IF OVERHEATED
If the heater becomes overheated, it will shut down automatically and the heater
will turn off. Please Note: the red power indicator light will go off and you may
smell a slight odor due to the coils overheating. This is normal and the odor will
subside.
Remove any nearby objects that may be causing the heater to overheat. Keep at
least three feet of space on all sides of the unit to allow adequate air circulation.
Use the unit in a well-ventilated area.
Place the unit on a flat, smooth, stable surface.
The unit will restart automatically when it has cooled sufficiently. Please Note:
this cool-down period could take 30-45 minutes. When heater is cooled the red
power indicator light will come back on and the heater will begin to heat.
IF TIPPED OVER
If the heater tips over it will shut down automatically and the red power indicator light
will turn off. Place the unit on a flat, smooth, stable surface in order to prevent it from
tipping over again. Caution: Front of unit will be hot. Handle with care. The unit will
restart automatically when it is placed in an upright position.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning or
attempting to store the item. Do not immerse heater in water or allow water to
drip into the interior of the heater, as this could create an electric shock
hazard.
CARE AND CLEANING
CAUTION: Allow the product to completely cool before handling, cleaning or storing.
Ensure the Power Switch is in the 0 position and the Power Cord is unplugged from the
electrical outlet before cleaning the product.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle of the product.
Clean the exterior surface of the product by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.
Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents, as product damage will occur.
Clean the filter by removing the back net cover and then the filter. Rinse the filter in
warm water and allow it to dry. Once completely dry, reinstall the filter and replace
the back net cover.
The fan motor has been lubricated at the factory and requires no additional
lubrication for the life of the product.
Store the product in a clean, dry place when it is not in use.
Please Note: Regardless of the type of heating system setup, always install and
maintain at least one smoke detector in good working condition on each floor of your
home. Periodically check and/or replace the battery in your smoke detector with a fresh
battery.

STORING
Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing. When storing heater during the
off season, be sure to store it in dry area. Wrap the power cord into a neat package.
The power cord should not be in contact with sharp edges, and it should not be
compressed by heavy objects. Store the cord in a clean, dry location away from metal
objects. Always check the plug before use to assure the cord has not become damaged.

The warranty is void if the defect is due to accidental damage, misuse, abuse,

operation instructions provided with the product. This warranty does not apply to
normal wear and tear, as well as commercial use.
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchase and
does not extend to subsequent owners of the product. Liability under this
warranty is limited to repair, or replacement. In no event shall liability exceed the
purchase price paid by the purchaser of the product. Under no circumstances shall
there be liability for any loss, direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential
damage arising out of in connection with use of this product.
This warranty is only valid in the 48 contiguous states plus the District of
Columbia, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. This
warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the United
States of America.

This Crane Oscillating Ceramic Heater was tested and meets our stringent
quality standards. This product is warranted to be free from
manufacturing defects in original materials, including original parts, and
workmanship for 1 year with proof of purchase.
In case you find this product to be defective within the warranty period
send the product and all of its accessories to our service center. The
consumer will be responsible for all shipping costs to the Crane Service
Center. Crane will not assume responsibility for loss or damages to the
product being returned to us. To avoid transport damages carefully
package the product and insure it with the carrier. Be sure to fill out the
warranty card and include it with a copy of the dated sales receipt. In
return you will receive your repaired item, or a new product at the
