The internal reflector with 90° light distribution
avoids inherent uneven illumination produced by
non–concentric or U-shaped flashtubes.
The bayonet reflector fitting with additional
security breech lock accepts all Elinchrom &
Prolinca reflectors since 1974.
Another first is the centred umbrella fitting for
deflectors or umbrellas.

Today’s digital workflow and camera systems
demand greater precision at all power settings
with an extended power range to cover extreme
requirements. Precise repeatability with ultra-
stable electronics controlled by large digital
displays. Elinchrom performance characteristics

revised range of Style RX units, with power
variation from 1200 Ws to 9 Ws, offer optio-

The latest Digital RX series incorporates
electronic know how combined with high manu-
facturing quality at affordable prices. Highlights

Total Asymmetry
The super stabilised Digital AS line for single
and multi-shot digital photography with user
friendly total power asymmetry allow 57 (power

compensates for each and every modification.

made flashtube covers all universal

The flat twin interlocking flashtubes

The upgraded Ranger RX unit, plus the new
Speed and Speed AS units are designated
RX because they may be operated by remote
control – by computer or by a handset – enor-
mously increasing the ease of use on location.
The basic unit has an improved “fast” recycling
sequence and the Speed unit will recycle to full
power in 2.9 seconds plus up to 250 flashes.
The Speed unit is available with either 2:1
asymmetrical or symmetrical output.
It incorporates the most advanced miniaturised
components weighing in at only 8 Kg – much
lighter and smaller than any comparable unit.
The same modified circuitry has permitted an
extension of its power range to 7 f-stop, with
enhanced stability. We believe these will be the
units to which others will be compared.

Take a look @ ERS and let it roll! Scan the Flash-Net... After installing
ERSMAC Software, connect your Style RX compacts or Digital RX power
packs to your computer. Open ERSMAC, the Elinchrom Software starts
automatically to search for connected RX units.

In “Single Mode” each RX unit can be operated separately in all functions.
The Studio Mode and Net Mode enables global changes such as “stand

The Hand Remote Control
enormously increases the flexibility
of all “RX” flash units. Optional
remote cables in 1.2 to 19.2 m,
the integrated highly sensitive
photocell and the 3.5 mm sync
socket helps to control and trigger
any RX flash unit at long distances.
This item operates all functions of
Style 300 RX, 600 RX and

The image shows the USB
Multilink converter connected to a
Mac computer via USB cable. The
four Remote cables can be linked
to Style RX 300, RX 600, RX 1200
compacts, Ranger RX or to the
Digital RX 1200 and 2400 power
packs. One Multilink box operates
six RX units. The other option is to
link five RX units and an additional
Multilink box for five more RX units.

Elinchrom Wireless System
The new EL-Skyport uses the 2.4
GHz frequency band with 40 bit
encryption for secure - and
interference free flash triggering or
wireless operating of Elinchrom RX
flash units with Mac or Windows
operating systems. Most trigger
systems work with less than 3 bits,
what may force interference
problems with other wireless
systems. The long life Lithium
battery accepts about 50000 flashes
or approximately six-month lifetime.
Skyport is a mini size system, only
3 x 5 cm and 15 g lightweight for
each component. The movable
antenna can be directed to increase
working area. Studio operating
distance is about 50 m and 100 m
outdoors.

The RF 3000 is dedicated to Elinchrom power
packs discharging up to a maximum of 3000
ws per exposure. To retain ease of handling,
the unit has a single 5 m power cable, which
reduces weight to approximately 1.9 kg. The
universal camera adapter with full adjustments
enables any 35 mm or medium format camera
to be conveniently fitted. The Ringflash is a
unique light source ensuring totally shadow less
but concentrated illumination for high contrast
or high key lighting. Very popular light source for
fashion, beauty, industrial and much advertising
photography. To modify the light characteristic
into a semi diffuse light source, replace the pro-
tection glass filter with the matt glass diffuser
code 402.013. To use the RF 3000 with Ranger
RX the Ranger adapter cable 11095 is required.

The Beauty Light
Recta, Strip, Octa, Quadra
Invented in 1982, their unique patented
construction and design have won these large
lightweight softboxes worldwide popularity.
A lightweight die cast rigid central mounting for
the flashhead inside the unit which places the
flashtube at the point of focus.
The optical result is a light source, which is so
even at the diffuser surface, that many famous
photographers use the Octa as a single light
source for portrait photography. In the U.S.A.
it is often referred to as “The Beauty Light”.
This exceptional softness of the light has sold
many of thousands of units, adapted to other

This uniquely creative tool offers variable radius
curves with a multi-angle, adjustable height
shooting surface. A secondary transparent
shooting surface enables heavier objects to be
photographed without the surface deforming.
An additional tray frame facilitates reflective or
