In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to: • • • • How to open a Unionbank EON account How to create a Paypal account How to enroll your Unionbank EON to E-Banking How to validate your EON account with Paypal How to Open an UnionBank EON Account Go to http://unionbankph.com Follow the instructions in these screen shots Agree to the terms and conditions. Now fill out all the details on this form. For the pick up branch here, select one that is convenient for you. IMPORTANT: Bring a photocopy of 2 valid IDs along with the original. You also need to bring your SSS ID (photocopy and original) or TIN Card (photocopy and original). If you don’t have these yet, your E1 form (photocopy and original) from SSS will do. Write down your reference number (which will be sent to your email and cell phone). Bring 500PHP with you. Why? Because you need to pay the annual fee of 350PHP and you will need another 150PHP to deposit into your account so you confirm your account with PayPal. You can claim your Unionbank EON ATM card right away. Creating a PayPal Account Start by going to http://PayPal.com Select “Personal” for the type of account. You’ll need to fill out your personal information. IMPORTANT: The credit card number is printed on the face of your EON ATM card. It’s below your name and usually starts with 109… Your PayPal account is now setup. PayPal will take a small charge from your EON account to verify your account. You’ll get this back. It’s just to authenticate you. Now you need to enroll your EON account to E-banking so you can retrieve the code from the PayPal charge. How to Enroll Your UnionBank EON into E-Banking The next set of images shows you how to connect your EON card to your PayPal account. How to Validate Your EON Account with PayPal Now that you are enrolled in e-banking, you can login to your UnionBank account to get the PayPal code. You need this to link your PayPal account with your EON account.special code that PayPal Log in to your Unionbank EON. Start by going to http://unionbankph.com and going to “EON”. Once logged in you need to agree to the terms of service: Create a password for account. You need to look at the transactions in your account to find the PayPal transaction. You’ll see that in this example, PayPal charged my account 100PHP and there is a special code in the description. You need this code. Take this code and go back to PayPal. Login to your account. Click the link shown to confirm your debit/credit card (this is your EON account). Now you can enter the code from your EON account here. It should be a 4-digit code. This verifies that your are the owner of both the PayPal and the EON accounts. You’re now all done! Congratulations!
