Welcome to Meriter
If you have questions, please contact your health
insurance plan. If you are changing providers, we will work
with you to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Prescription Refills
Refilling a prescription is easy. Just call your pharmacy to
reorder and they will contact us to confirm the refill.
Pediatric After-Hours Care
The Meriter Pediatric After-Hours Clinic provides
appointment access beyond regular clinic hours. Staffed
by Meriter pediatricians, the clinic is open to patients age
0-18 who either have a Meriter primary care physician or
have Physicians Plus insurance.
The clinic is located on the main level (2 Atrium) of
Meriter Hospital. Reserved parking is available in the
hospital parking ramp.
If your child has a Meriter doctor, simply call your
child’s primary care clinic for an appointment. If you do
not currently have a Meriter primary care doctor, your
appointment can be scheduled by calling 608.417.6868.
Emergency Care
Meriter’s Emergency Services Department (ED) is open 24
hours-a-day, every day, to anyone who needs emergency
treatment. The Pediatric Center, located adjacent to the
Emergency Department, centralizes care forchildren
receiving emergency and inpatient services at Meriter
Hospital. Our specialized, professional staff offers family-
centered care in a friendly atmosphere.

Scheduling an Appointment
Your time is valuable, and we will do everything possible
to accommodate your schedule. If you feel you need to be
seen on a same-day basis, contact our clinical staff and
they will assess your needs and arrange for appropriate
care.
To schedule an appointment, please call any of our clinics
or use MyChart by visiting mychart.meriter.com. To
request an appointment online with a Meriter physician,
please visit meriter.com/appointment and allow one
business day for a Meriter representative to contact you.
If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please
notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
