A. VMware Workspace ONE App Express helps
organizations host Windows applications from the cloud
in as few as 3 clicks. Built directly into Workspace ONE,
this streamlined service is designed for customers who
would like to virtualize their Windows apps directly via
Workspace ONE. Hosted entirely in the cloud, there is no
need to manage infrastructure, and with convenient
hourly billing you won’t have to predict your usage
requirements up front, simply pay for what you use. With
Workspace ONE App Express, each user gets dedicated
compute so you won’t have to worry about performance
and right sizing your RDSH farms or hosted apps servers.

A. Any application that is compatible with WIndows Server
2012 R2 can be run in Workspace ONE App Express.

Q. How does Workspace ONE App Express work?

A. Workspace ONE App Express is designed to be a
lightweight solution for rapidly delivering cloud-hosted
virtual Windows applications through Workspace ONE.
For organizations who are not Workspace ONE
customers, are looking to deploy virtual desktops, or
want multiple infrastructure deployment options,
VMware’s Horizon Cloud service is a perfect fit.

A. Workspace ONE App Express provides a platform for
rapid, secure deployment of Windows software from the
cloud. Via the Workspace ONE console, IT administrators
upload and onboard applications and assign permissions
with an easy-to-use web interface. They can push
updates by patching one master image and publish to
end users with a single click—no downtime required.

Q. Do I need to be a Workspace ONE customer in order to
use Workspace ONE App Express?
A. Yes. Workspace ONE App Express is an add-on for
Workspace ONE. Customers can now enjoy on-demand
Windows application delivery from the cloud, enterprise
mobility management, identity, and unified endpoint
management from a single platform.

Q. How can I access applications delivered through
Workspace ONE App Express?
A. Any device with an HTML 5 compliant browser can
launch the Workspace ONE portal, providing access to
applications delivered through Workspace ONE App
Express.
