These sound level indicators are facto-ry pre-set andare not affected by the volume setting. This feature allowsyou to view the relative volume level of your baby’s sounds. It is most effec-tive whenyou are in a noisy environment and may not be able to hear yourbaby’s sounds clearly. The louder the sound, the more RED LEDs will lightup. These RED LEDs, along with the Speaker, also serve as a loss of signalalarm. When the Parent’s unit is too far from the Baby’s Unit for monitoring, the LEDs will flash and the Speaker will give off an audible alarm. Do Notuse this feature as a “seek” function to locate your child.Operating Tips• Make sure that both units are on the same channel. Even though you mayhear your baby’s sounds, proper use of this system requires that both unitsmust be on the same channel. If the units are on different channels, the sig-nalsfrom theBaby’s Unit may be strong enough to be picked up by theParent’s Unit, but these signals are unreliable and may contain substantialstatic.•When using the AC Adapters with household electricity, make sure the out-let haspower. Some electrical outlets are powered through a wall switch inthe room. If both Units are plugged in and”ON” , the Power indicator LEDs
should be lit. If this does not take place, try placing the wall switch in theroom in another position.Troubleshooting Your Grow-With-Me Intercom MonitorProblem Possible cause SolutionWarrantyONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTYSafety 1st...
