- The Baby Unit (Transmitter) has continuous transmission that clearly
sends your baby‘s sounds to the Parent Unit. This gives you the ability to
continue with your daily activities throughout the house or yard and at the
same time monitor your baby.
- The Parent Unit (Receiver) remains with you wherever you go to pick up
the sounds that are transmitted from the Baoy Unit. lt conveniently clips
to your belt or easily stands on a table.
' Both units are AC powered. The AC Adapter allows the receiver and
transmitter to be plugged into any standard electrical outlet for use with
your household electrlclty. For Convenient use Without an outlet, use a
9 volt battery for the Parent Unit. (Battery not included).

Safety Instructions
NEED WARNINGS: All warnings on the Monitor and operating instructions
should be adhered to.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS: All operating instructions should be followed.
WATER AND MOISTURE: The Monitor should not be used near water; for
example. near a bath tub, wash bowl. kitchen sink. laundry tub in a wet
basement. or near a swimming pool, etc.
VENTILATION: The Monitor should not be situated on a bed. sofa, rug. or
similar surface that may block the ventilation openings, or placed in an
enclosed installation, such as a book case or cabinet that may impede the
flow of air through the ventilation openings.
HEAT: The Monitor should be situated away from heat sources such as
radiators, neat registers, stoves, or other appliances that produce heat.
POWER sounds: The Monitor should be connected to a power supply
only of the type described in these operating instructions.
POWER CORD PROTECTION: The power supply cord should be routed
so that it is not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon
or against it. Pay particular attention to the cord at the plug, convenience
receptacle, and at the point it exits from the Monitor. NOTE: Do not place
adapter under a window where a child might use it to step on and reach
something that might be dangerous.
CLEANING: Use a dry cotton cloth to keep the Monitor free of dust.
Do Not Use Water.
NON-USE PERIODS: The power cord of the Monitor should be unplugged
from the outlet when unused for a long period of time.
Battery should be removed from Parent Unit.
OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY: Care should be taken so that obiects do not

NOTE: Throughout the Instructions, in will rater to texture numbers
listed In the "Features and Components” section.
CHANNEL SELECTION
The Monitor can broadcast over two preset factory frequencies or channels
(an on Parent Unit and an: on Baby Unit). Use setting “I" making sure that
both units are set to "I”. If you experience static or noise Interference,
simply switch both units to Channel "ll".
PROPER POSITIONING
For best results, place the Baby Unit on a table near the crib. It should be
facing the baby's head as close to the crib as possible, but out of baby‘s
reach. The Parent Unit should be placed at least 10 feet / 3 meters away
from the Baby Unit.

The Parent Unit operates on household electricity with the AC Adapter or
with a 9 volt battery (not included). The Baby Unit operates on household
electricity with the AC Adapter only. The Parent Unit will automatically
convert to AC operation when used with the AC Adapter. It is not
necessary to remove the battery during AC operation. The Parent Unit will
automatically switch back to battery power when disconnected from the
AC Adapter.
AC ADAPTER
The AC Adapter should be used whenever possible on the Parent Unit to
save battery life. This Is done by inserting the AC Adapter (315) into the
AC Adapter Jack (3:3). Then simply plug the AC Adapter into a nearby
standard household outlet.
BATTERY USE ‘
To place battery into the Parent Unit, remove the screw from the Battery
Compartment (#4 on the Parent Unit). Rotate Battery Compartment Cover
out and away (rorn the Unit. Insert a 9 volt alkaline battery by snapping
the battery contacts into the corresponding connectors on the battery clip.
Make sure that it is secure. Replace the Battery Compartment Cover and
tighten screw. To obtain maximum partorrnance, ALWAYS use alkll a
type batteries In this monitor.
POWER NDICATOR
The power in'dlcator (3:9 on the Parent Unit and $311 on the Baby Unit) is a
green LED that indicates that the unit is on and functioning. Low battery
power is indicated by the red LED (”3 on the Parent Unit), which signals
when the battery needs to be replaced.
VOLUME INSTRUCTIONS
Volume can be easily adjusted to any desired listening level by rotating the
Volume Dial ($2). so you can be sure to hear your baby at all times. The
sounds are transmitted through the wide range speaker ($6).
ANTENNA
Both Units contain an antenna that requires no adjustment. Slide your
fingers up the antenna to straighten it.
A CAUTION
~ When using battery, check battery indicator regularly. Red LED indicates
the battery is low. DO NOT rely on Parent Unit when battery is low.

companimiento de la baterla (No. 4 en la unidad de Ios padres). Give v
