3. GETTING STARTED
Before you start using your new phone you may need:
Nano SIM card. To take full advantage of your new smart-
phone’s capabilies, you should install a SIM card. The SIM card
will enable you to place calls or use mobile data to connect to
various Internet services. Your mobile service provider will give
you a card and the codes needed for it (PIN and PUK) when you
buy a mobile contract or a prepaid SIM card. Make sure you
get a suitable contract that t your needs regarding calls and
mobile data.
Google™ account: To be able to fully use your new smartphone
you need a Google Account. If you don’t have one yet, no
worries, as you will be guided through an account setup when
starng the phone for the rst me. It can however be a good
idea to think of a Username and Password as these will be
used for many services, such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps,
Google Drive, Google Photos and and other Google products.
Memory card (oponal). From Android™ 6.0, you can select
to use a memory card (microSD) as extended internal memory
or as a portable memory. We suggest you to use a high speed
memory card, especially if used as extended internal memory.
Wi-Fi access. If you have a Wi-Fi access point avaiable, it’s
always good to connect to that to reduce costs for data trac
and possibly increase data speed.
4. REMOVE THE BACK COVER
Important!
Be careful not to damage your
ngernails when you remove the back
cover. Do not bend or twist the back
cover excessively as it may get damaged.
5. INSERT SIM CARD (NOT INCLUDED)
AND MEMORY CARD (OPTIONAL)
1. Insert the nano SIM card by gently sliding it into the SIM
card slot. Make sure that the SIM card’s contacts are facing
downwards and that the cut o corner is up, as shown. Take
care not to scratch or bend the contacts on the SIM card. This
device accepts only nano SIM card (4FF). Using a modied
incompable card that is thicker than a nano SIM card may
damage the card itself, the card slot and corrupt any data
stored on the card. Should you need, but have problem to
remove/replace the SIM card, use adhesive tape on the
exposed part of the SIM card to pull it out.
2. You may also oponally insert a memory card. Make sure that
the memory card’s contacts are facing downwards, as shown.
To remove the memory card: nd the small ridge on the
exposed end of the memory card. Put your ngernail into the
ridge and gently pull the memory card out.
Compable card type: microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC
3. Replace the back cover.
6. CHARGE YOUR PHONE
Charge your phone. Your phone may already come with
enough charge to be powered on right out of the box, but we
recommended to give it a full charge before rst using it.
CAUTION
Only use baeries, charger and accessories that have been
approved for use with this parcular model. Connecng other
accessories may be dangerous and may invalidate the phone’s
type approval and guarantee.
Insert the small end of the included USB cable into the charging
port on the phone and other end into the wall charger that you
plug into to a wall socket.
7. TURN ON THE PHONE
Note! When turning on your phone, the installed applicaons
may need to be updated. Applicaon updates requires Internet
connecon and can take a few minutes. A Wi-Fi connecon is
preferable. The phone may appear a bit slow during the update.
Press and hold the power buon unl the display lights up.
Wait for the phone to start.
Enter your SIM card PIN if requested.
Follow the setup guide to get on the Internet and start person-
alising your new phone.
Sign in with an exisng Google account or setup a new account.

Medical units
The use of equipment that transmits radio signals, for example, mobile phones, can interfere
with insuciently protected medical equipment. Consult a doctor or the manufacturer of the equipment to
determine if it has adequate protecon against external radio signals, or if you have any quesons. If noces
have been put up at health care facilies instrucng you to turn o the unit while you are there, you should
comply. Hospitals and other health care facilies somemes use equipment that can be sensive to external
radio signals.
Implanted medical devices
To avoid potenal interference, manufacturers of implanted medical devices recommend a minimum
separaon of 15 cm between a wireless device and the medical device.
Persons who have such devices should:
Always keep the wireless device more than 15 cm from the medical device.
Should not carry the phone in a breast pocket.
Hold the wireless device to the ear opposite the medical device.
If you have any reason to suspect that interference is taking place, turn the phone o immediately If you have
any quesons about using your wireless device with an implanted medical device, consult your health care
provider.
Areas with explosion risk
Always turn o the unit when you are in an area where there is a risk of explosion. Follow all signs and
instrucons. There is a risk of explosion in places that include areas where you are normally requested to
turn o your car engine. In these areas, sparks can cause explosion or re which can lead to personal injury
or even death.
Turn o the unit at lling staons, and any other place that has fuel pumps and auto repair facilies.
Follow the restricons that apply to the use of radio equipment near places where fuel is stored and sold,
chemical factories and places where blasng is in progress.
Areas with risk for explosion are oen – but not always – clearly marked. This also applies to below decks on

EU SPECIFIC ABSORPTION RATE (SAR)
This device meets applicable internaonal safety requirements for exposure to radio waves. Your mobile
device is a radio transmier and receiver. It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves
(radio frequency electromagnec elds) recommended by internaonal guidelines from the independent
scienc organizaon ICNIRP (Internaonal Commission of Non-Ionizing Radiaon Protecon).
The radio wave exposure guidelines use a unit of measurement known as the Specic Absorpon Rate, or
SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is 2 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of ssue and include a substanal
safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.
Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operang posions with the device transming at its highest
cered power level in all tested frequency bands. The highest SAR values under the ICNIRP guidelines for this
device model are:
Head SAR: 0.57 W/kg
Body SAR: 1.19 W/kg
During normal use, the SAR values for this device are usually well below the values stated above. This is
because, for purposes of system eciency and to minimize interference on the network, the output power
of your mobile device is automacally decreased when full power is not needed for the call. The lower the
power output of the device, the lower its SAR value.
This device meets RF exposure guidelines when used against the head or when posioned at least 0.5 cm
away from the body. When a carry case, belt clip or other form of device holder is used for body-worn
operaon, it should not contain metal and should provide at least the above stated separaon distance from
the body.
The World Health Organizaon (WHO) has stated that current scienc informaon does not indicate the
need for any special precauons when using mobile devices. If you are interested in reducing your exposure,
they recommend you reduce your usage or use a hands-free accessory to keep the device away from your
head and body.

FCC RF EXPOSURE INFORMATION (SAR)
This model phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves.
This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency
(RF) energy set by the Federal Communicaons Commission of the U.S. Government. The exposure standard
for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specic Absorpon Rate, or SAR.
The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg.
*Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operang posions accepted by the FCC with the phone
transming at its highest cered power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined
at the highest cered power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while operang can be well below the
maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at mulple power levels so as to use only
the poser required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base staon antenna, the
lower the power output.
The highest SAR value for the model phone as reported to the FCC when tested for use at the ear is
0.89 W/kg and when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is 1.22 W/kg (Body-worn
measurements dier among phone models, depending upon available enhancements and FCC requirements.).
While there may be dierences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various posions, they all
meet the government requirement. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorizaon for this model phone
with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR informaon
on this model phone is on le with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant secon of hp://www.
fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid aer searching on FCC ID: WS5DSB0090.
For body worn operaon, this phone has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with
an accessory that contains no metal and the posions the handset a minimum of 3/8 inch (1.0 cm) from the
body. Use of other enhancements may not ensure compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines. If you do not
use a body-worn accessory and are not holding the phone at the ear, posion the handset a minimum of 3/ 8
inch (1.0 cm) from your body when the phone is switched on.
*In the United States, the SAR limit for mobile phones used by the public is 1.6 was/kilogram (W/kg)
averaged over one gram of ssue. The standard incorporates a substanal margin of safety to give addional
protecon for the public and to account for any variaons in measurements. SAR values may vary depending
on naonal reporng requirements and the network band.
