02 WELCOME Welcome to the Dosime® device. Advanced security, right at home or on the go. The Dosime device is the first continual radiation tracker to offer Bluetooth® wireless technology, so you will see your activity and exposure levels wherever life takes you. Home, work, travel or play. And once you are set up, syncing occurs automatically. So let’s get set up. 03 REQUIREMENTS 1 Have your home Wi-Fi SSID and pass- word available 2 Wi-Fi Operation: 2.4 GHz, (b/g) 3 OS: Recent iOS® or Android™ operating system 4 Browsers: Recent Internet Explorer®, Chrome™, Mircosoft Edge™, Firefox®, or Safari® browser 5 Obtain measurement instructions from dosime.com/support Can connect to the following Wi-Fi® security types: No Security, WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK 04 SET UP PLUG IT IN 1 Place cradle in power socket. Cradle will show blue light. 2 Place Dosime dosimeter in cradle to charge 3 Return Dosime dosimeter to cradle to charge frequently to maximize battery life 05 SET UP DOWNLOAD THE DOSIME APP 1 Download and open the app called “Dosime” 2 Follow the instructions on the app. If you don’t have access to download the app, follow the instructions on dosime.com/support 06 SET UP SET UP YOUR USER “HOME” ACCOUNT, ONLINE OR ON THE APP You will need to set up your user account (required) and family share account (if needed). We’ve taken the guesswork out of the process so all you have to do is go to dosime.com, or the dosime app, register and set up your Dosime device. Look for the easy online prompts or visit dosime.com/support. Family Share? After responding to the email, you can also create “sub-accounts,” which sends emails to your family members inviting them to sign up too. Or you can have just one home account. 07 TROUBLE SHOOTING 1 To make the setup network appear, unplug the cradle from the power socket. Then, while plugging the cradle back in the power socket, hold the soft button pressed until the cradle shows blue light momentarily. 2 Website for help: www.dosime.com/support 08 COLOR MEANINGS Green: Low / Standard On the dosimeter, the blink will be every 2 seconds and will pulse slowly when battery is low. Amber: Elevated Radiation dose rate is above 10 mrem/hr and below 100 mrem/hr Red: Severe Radiation dose rate is above 100 mrem/hr Federal Communications Commission and Industry Canada Compliance This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Class B digital device, under part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. The Dosime dosimeter must be returned to cradle to charge frequently to optimize battery life. DO NOT USE YOUR PRODUCT UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT AND RETURN IT WITHIN THE RETURN PERIOD AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH DOSIME RETURN POLICY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS THAT VARY BY STATE, COUNTRY, OR PROVINCE. THE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL NOT APPLY TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. The warranty obligations for this product are limited to the terms set forth below: Dosime, Inc. warrants the Dosime product and accessories contained in the original packaging against defects in the materials and workmanship when used normally in accordinance with the Dosime technical specifications and user manual for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user or purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If during this warranty period a defect arises and you submit a valid claim to Dosime, Inc. and follow the instructions for returning the product, we will, at our option, either (i) repair the product using either new or refurbished parts, or (ii) replace the product with a new or refurbished product. Repaired or replaced product(s) will be warranted for the remaining warranty period of the original product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. To obtain warranty service for any product that is subject to the foregoing warranty, the consumer must notify Dosime, Inc. to obtain a Return Material authorization (“RMA”) and return the defective product together with proof of purchase to the address specified by Dosime, Inc. in connection with the RMA. This Warranty does not apply: (i) to consumable part, such as batteries, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship of the Dosime product itself; (ii) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (iii) defects or damage caused by misuse, accident (including, without limitation, collision, fire and the spillage of food or liquid), neglect, abuse, alteration, unusual stress, modification, improper or unauthorized repair, installation, testing, or improper storage; or (iv) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses as described by Dosime, Inc. This Limited Warranty does not apply to any software, even if packaged or sold with Dosime hardware. The software warranty is as set forth in the End User License Agreement for the software. Dosime, Inc. does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
