Introduction
Congratulations onpurcnasing a TGADDO'“
Alarm to protect gour toolbox or truck-
bed contents. For installation of the
memo“ Alarm, you will need the
following basic tools:
~ A small Phillips-head or "Star" screw-
driuer,
~ An alcohol based cleaner like
Meth lated Spirits to ensure the
instal tion surface is free of dlrt, dust
and moisture
A Proper care e; safety precautions should
be taken when using any cleaning fluids
Installation Guide
Before the TGhooo'“ will operate, a new
set of 3 x AA Alkaline batteries must be
inserted into the batterg compartment,

. Remoue the two top retaining screws
from the TGhooo'“ case.
~ Slide the lid towards the edge of

most batteries into position.
~ Leuer the middle batterg between the
outer two.
~ Slide the lid into its Original location
and replace the two retaining screws to
hold the lid closed,

The Tattoos“ Alarm was designed to be
mounted on the inside of a toolbox lid or
truck tray couer, and is effectiue forany lid
or couer that tilts uerticallg.
For a Toolbox, we recommend that
the alarm be installed inside the lid,
reasonably close to the opening edge
Mounting the Alarm
Special high-strength double-sided tape
is supplied and is the preferred method of
installation as it is quick, easy and uery
strong.
Wipe the mounting area with Meth lated
Spirits or similar, to ensure the su ace is
clean and free of oil, dlrt and moisture.
A Proper care e; safety precautions should
be taken when using any cleaning fluids

and stick the strips of tape to the back of
the alarm towards each side.

To test the TGAOOO‘“ has been installed
and is functioning correctly, please follow
these steps:
. Close the toolbox or hatch on which the
alarm has been mounted,
~ Press the button on the remote control
that was supplied in the kit. The siren
will chirp twice.
- Wait for a minimum or 5 seconds
to allow the alarm to establish its
reference angle.
~ Open the lid or hatch. The siren will
sound for thirty seconds, or until the
remote control is pressed once more.

Arming
To Arm the TGADOO'“, simply press the
button on tne remote control. The siren
will emit two short chrrps to confirm.
The alarm calculates its reference an le
during the lst four seconds, after which
any real tilt will trigger the siren.
Disarming
To disarm the alarm, simply- press the
button on the remote contro The siren

Triggering
The TGADDO‘” resets its reference angle
each time the alarm is armed. Any change
in angle with respect to the reference
angle will cause the siren to sound for
30 seconds. The sirm will then reset
(remain quiet) and the alarm will reset
the reference angle to its new an Le, ready
to trigger upon t e next change, his cycle
will continue until the alarm is disarmed.
