Dynaudio Solo 3 Owner’s Manual Welcome to Dynaudio Solo 3. Cleaning the Speaker 7. Resetting the Speaker 8. Support 1. Learning about Dynaudio Solo 3 Dynaudio Solo 3 is a portable speaker that can be connected via Bluetooth. It is equipped with multiple sound modes and supports NFC quick pairing. All of these features allow you to enjoy high-quality music anytime and anywhere. Unpacking After unpacking, please check the speaker and all accessories for defective conditions. If the box is seriously damaged, it may be caused during the transportation. Do not try to use a damaged device. If the package contents are missing or damaged, please contact Dynaudio dealer immediately. Please keep the packing material for future use. Waste Disposal Disposal of used electronics (Refer to the classified collection system of European countries). This mark on the product or on its packaging indicates that it can’t be disposed as household waste. It must be handed over to the specialized recycling agency for electronics. The negative influence on potential environmental and human health will be prevented if this product is disposed properly. Recycling materials contributes to the conservation of natural resources. Placing Because of its wireless connection and portable design, Solo 3 is more flexible than traditional speakers in terms of placing. You can put it on the desktop, in the car, on the bracket and any position where you want to listen to the music. Your different listening needs can be met through changing the sound modes. 4. Operating and Using Volume NFC Function Reset Power Aux USB 4.1 Connecting the Speaker Power Connection Solo 3 has a built-in rechargeable battery, so it can be used in unplugged state. The battery will be charged after connecting to the power cord. The battery level can be displayed by pressing the power button for a short time in the poweron mode. The power indicator panel will flicker for a few seconds. When all lights are on, it indicates that the battery is full; half of the indicator lights are on showing that the battery level is 50%; when the battery level is less than 10%, the first indicator will turn red and keep bright; when it is less than 1%, the speaker will be powered off automatically. Attention: The initial battery level of Solo 3 is between 70% and 80%. Bluetooth Connection When the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode, turn on the Bluetooth setting page of the device and start Bluetooth. Solo 3 can be chosen from available list for initial pairing. After pairing, Solo 3 will appear in the paired list and then Bluetooth audio stream can be played. The speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode by default for 5 minutes without manually choosing the Bluetooth pairing mode. If there is no device for pairing or audio input five minutes after pairing, the speaker will be shut down. Attention: The speaker can memorize eight Bluetooth devices pairing, but only one device can be connected at the same time. NFC Connection Open the NFC function of your device and take it near to the NFC pairing area, Solo 3 will automatically recognize and connect to the device. Wired connection In addition to Bluetooth, Solo 3 can also use wired connection. Use a 3.5 mm analogue audio cable in the accessory to connect the audio sources to the speaker to play music. 4.1 Using Solo 3 is operated and controlled through the body button. Switch on/off: Press the power button to turn on the speaker, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the speaker. Volume +/-: Turn the volume knob clockwise/counterclockwise to increase/decrease the volume, and the volume is displayed on the indicator panel on the top of the speaker. Sound effect options: press the sound selection button for a short time to switch the speaker through Normal, STAGE and Bass mode. When switched to STAGE or Bass mode, the corresponding indicator light will be on. If both of them are off, it means that it is currently in Normal mode. Bluetooth setting: If the speaker is on and not in Bluetooth pairing mode, press the Bluetooth setting button for 3 seconds. Then the speaker will be in Bluetooth setting mode. Technical Data Audio input: Bluetooth, 3.5 mm analog input Size: 234*73*73 mm Main power supply: direct current 5V-2A Attention: When other adapters are used for charging the sound box, the voltage adaptation range is 5-5.3V and the current output capability is higher than 2A. Attention: If the plug-in speaker is on, please turn it down to ensure effective charging. 6. Cleaning the Speaker. Please do not disassemble Solo 3 by yourself because of the metal and wood contained inside. You can wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth. Please do not use a vacuum cleaner. If you want to use detergent, first apply it to the cleaning cloth. Do not use it on the speaker directly. Since some cleaning products may damage the surface, please try it in a small area. Avoid product wear or use acidic, alkaline or antimicrobial-containing detergents. 7. Resetting the Speaker Press the pinhole reset button next to the power button to return the speaker to its default setting. Press and hold the reset button for 2 seconds with straightened paper clips. The speaker will automatically power off and reset to default.
