Before you use your telephone for the first time, charge the handset for at least 6 hours. 2. To charge your handset, place it on the base unit. The battery symbol appear on the display of the handset to indicate that the handset is being charged. Function Explanation 1. MEMORY FUNCTION You can store the telephone numbers you call frequently Into the memory and make a call easlly. 2. CHANNEL SCAN You can change the operating channel when you hear Interference noise. The clearest channel of the 40 channels is selected. 3. FLASH FUNCTION Press this button to finish a call and get a new dial tone without hanging up the phone. 4. REDIAL/ PAUSE FUNCTlON Press this button to dial the last phone number dialed When you hear a dial tone. 5. AUTO ANSWER/ AUTO STANDBY When lifting the handset form the base unit you can answer a call without pressing the “TALK" button. Place the handset in the cradle to hang up. 6. ANY KEY ANSWER When the handset is on the cradle, press Any dial key on the handset to take a call. 7. KEY LOCK You can lock the dial key not to be used by others. 8. ONE WAY PAGE If you press the “CALL” button on the base unit, the handset is beeped 5 times with the call icon blinking on the display of the handset. 9. Disconnect the AC adaptor from the base unit and reconnect it. Check the telephone line connection. The handset battery voltage is low. Charge the battery fully. Be sure the “TONE/PULSE" switch is correct You are too far from the base unit. Check if the voltage of the AC adaptor is incorrectly set. Sound flutters or fades The antenna is not fully extended. You are too far from the base unit. Do not place the unit near electric goods such as TV. The unit does not ring Confirm the unit plugged into the AC power and telephone line. Press the Talk button on the handset.‘ The handset battery voltage is low. Charge the battery fully. The unit is encountering Interference from another unit Press the channel button Set the unit away from other electric appliance.
