Tap the screen once to activate or open something.Touch and hold to move an item by dragging. *In many apps touch and hold can oer more options.Zooming: Double tap quickly to zoom into a webpage, picture, or map. Some apps allow you to zoom in and out by touching the screen with two fingers and pinching them together or spreading them apart. TIP: You can flick the screen with your finger to quickly scroll through a long list, such as a library of music.Tap a specific location on the screen where you would like to enter text. GETTING STARTEDTurn on the tablet: Press and hold the power button to start device.Turn o the tablet: Press and hold the power button to power othe interface. Touch the “Power o” button to turn o the device.Turning the Tablet On or OffWhen the screen is bright, briefly press the power key to turn o the screen. Brielfy press the power key again to turn on screen.To conserve battery power, the screen can be set to turn o automatically when the tablet is not in use (between 1 minute and 30 minutes). This “Screen timeout” option can be found in the Display menu.Turning the Screen On or OffWhen the screen turns o, you will have to unlock the screenwhen you turn it back on. APPLICATIONSTo open an application, touch the application icon on the home screen or in the Launcher where you can tap the icon right up on the home screen to get in.The screen shown above is for illustrative purposes only. The right to modify and improve the final list of applications available on the tablet is reserved.Some applications have been installed on your tablet for your convenience. The “Unknown Sources” option can be set in the Application Settings menu.Installing ApplicationsYou can fill the home screen with any combinations of shortcuts, widgets, and folders you like.When you power up your tablet for the first time, you’ll see the main home screen panel. Tap and hold the desired app or widget for about 2 seconds, until the home screen appears. Slide it wherever you want and let go.Adding IconsTouch and hold the icon. Slide your finger to the new position.(To move between home screens, slide toward the edge of the screen. To bump another icon out of the way, slide slowly towards it.) Lift your finger to drop the icon into its new position.Moving IconsTouch and hold the app or widget and drag to the “X Remove” icon at the top of the screen.Removing IconsMake sure the image you want is displayed on the screen. Press the Screenshot icon on the status bar to take a screenshot.You can also display or hide the screenshot button on the status bar in the settings menu.The screenshot is automatically saved to your Gallery.Taking a ScreenshotTo save battery, you should put your tablet in sleep mode by turning o the LCD display. Swipe down from the top of your home screen to view your Notifications.Use two fingers to swipe from the top of your home screen or swipe down again from notifications to view your Quick Settings.Quick Settings & NotificationsTap on “Sounds & notifications” in the Settings Menu. You can manage what notifications you see, set notification priority level by app, and see what apps have access to your notifications. CONNECTING TO A WIFI NETWORK1) Turn on WIFI:Turn on the Wi-Fi button in the settings menu.The tablet will search and display a list of the available Wi-Fi networks.2) Connect to a Wifi NetworkChoose the wifi network you wish to join, then input the password to be connected.
3) Add a NetworkPress the “Add” button in the Wi-Fi screen to add a network. Input the SSID, choose the security, then input the password.3) Other FunctionsScan, WPS pin entry,Wi-Fi direct, and advanced functions in the Wi-Fi menu.
OPTIONAL CONNECTIONS1. Connect your tablet to the computer. With the included USB cable, plug the small end of the cable into the USB 2.0 high-speed connector of the tablet. Plug the large end of the cable into an available USB 2.0 high-speed port on the computer.2.
