Battery Installation
Vehicle
1. The battery compartment is
located on the underside of the
unit. Use a Phillips screwdriver to
open the battery compartment.

making sure to match the
polarity (+ and -) with the
diagram on the inside of the
battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover and
screw in firmly.

1. The battery compartment is
located on the back of the unit.
Use a small Phillips screwdriver
to release the screw then slide the
battery compartment cover off.
2. Install a 9V battery, making sure
to match the polarity (+ and -)
with the diagram on the inside of
the battery cover.
3. Replace battery cover and screw
in firmly.
Note: When installing batteries into
the vehicle be careful to not damage
the antenna.

Operation
There is an OFF/ON switch on the
transmitter and on the bottom of the
car. Turn both switches to ON
How to Race:
Your transmitter features two
joysticks. The one on the left moves
up (forward) and down (reverse) to
control the forward and backward
motion of the car. The joystick on the
right moves right and left to control
the turning of your car.
Range:
When the vehicle goes beyond
radio signal contact, loss of control
or slowness will occur. Extend the
transmitting antenna higher for better
signal. Make sure the antenna is
screwed on tightly.
Trim Switch Control:
The switch is located on the
underside of the vehicle between
the two front wheels, just above
the battery compartment. It is used
to align the wheels so that vehicle
drives consistently in a straight line.
If your car turns when it should go
straight, adjust the trim switch until
the problem is eliminated.
Interference
It is advisable not to use the vehicle
close to high tension wires or CB
radios. Interference from radio waves
may affect the vehicle’s performance.
Helpful Hints
• Avoid heat, water or wet surfaces,
dusty surfaces or sand. Off-
road vehicles run easier on grassy
surfaces.
• Avoid hard-impact collisions.
Collisions against hard surfaces
may damage the vehicle.
• The vehicle cannot operate on
thick carpets or dusty floors.
• If you wish to operate more than
one vehicle at a time, you must
purchase another vehicle on
another frequency.
• If the car does not respond to the
transmitter, move closer to the car
and try again.
• If the car starts to lose power,
performance may decrease. If this
happens, simply recharge your car
again.
Battery Life
Extend the battery life by switching
the unit off when not in use.
Battery life affects how your car
responds. When the transmitter range
decreases, replace the batteries in the
controller and vehicle.

Troubleshooting:
If the vehicle does not move:
1. Are the battery contacts matched
correctly in the transmitter?
2. Are the metal contact tabs
touching, rusty or dirty in the
transmitter?
3. Are there batteries in the
transmitter?
4. Is the power switch on the
transmitter turned on?
5. Are the batteries exhausted?
Special Care & Handling
• Avoid rough handling such as
bumping or dropping.
• Avoid moisture and extreme
temperatures. For best results, use
between the temperatures of 39ºF
and 100ºF (4º C and 38º C) and
keep away from fire.
• Avoid using the vehicle for
long periods under direct sunlight.
Sunlight or excessive heat may
damage electronic parts.
• Store the vehicle transmitter in a
dry, cool place away from heaters
or warm areas.
• Do not use cleaners with chemical
agent. Clean using only slightly
damp cloth. Then use a dry
cloth to wipe off the moisture.
Dust, dirt, or other foreign objects
can also be removed from your
vehicle by using a brush or by
tying a small bit of cloth to the tip
of a toothpick or tweezers and
using that to wipe off your car.

Battery & Other Information

replaced only by an adult.
Also wires and plugs should be
periodically checked by an adult.
• Install batteries with the correct
polarity.
• Your car uses 3 AA alkaline
batteries and one 9V battery
for the transmitter, not included.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium/ Ni-MH)
batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Remove exhausted batteries from
the unit.
• Take caution when removing
leaking or damaged batteries.
• To avoid explosion or leakage, do
not dispose of batteries in a fire or
attempt to recharge alkaline or
other non-rechargeable batteries.
• Leakage may occur if the battery
is not used for an extended
period of time.
• Dispose of all batteries properly.
Do not disassemble the batteries.
• Do not short circuit battery
terminals.
• Remove batteries and store in a
cool, dry place when not in use.
