Turn OFF the transmitter.2. Open the battery compartment cover     (back of transmitter) by loosening the screw (fig.1),     use a Philips Screwdriver (not included).3. Place the 9V (6LR61) battery (not included) in the battery     compartment, please follow the polarity indicated (fig.2).4. Replace the battery compartment cover (fig.3).5. Turn ON the transmitter.  Red LED light indicates that     the transmitter is on and functioning.Note: When replacing Transmitter battery:         Use alkaline battery only.9VNote: When replacing ATV battery:         Use alkaline battery only.1. Turn off the ATV.2. Open the battery compartment cover by loosening the     screw (fig.1),     using Phillips Screwdriver (not included).3. Plug in the AA (LR6) batteries (not included) to the receptacle     indicated in (fig.2).4. Replace the battery compartment cover (fig.3).5. Turn the power switch ON on the underside of ATV. (Page 6).6. Turn the power switch to the OFF position and remove the battery     when not in use. If the ATV slows down during play, this may indicate  low battery power, therefore it would be necessary to  replace the batteries.Cautions:Important! Please ensure that the contact points are neither   rusty nor dirty.Issue – Erratic or Unpredictable Behavior- If the vehicle moves by itself or exhibits reduced transmission range, please ensure that   there is no external interference in the area.  To do this, take the vehicles away from any   power lines, tall buildings or radio towers to reduce radio interference.When NOT in useAlways remove any batteries from the Transmitter and the Vehicle.Battery Safety PrecautionsDO NOT dispose any type of batteries in fire, leakage, explosion and personal injury may occur.DO NOT attempt jumps or crashes with this vehicle as this may dislodge the battery connections.Batteries are the foremost issue experienced with radio controlled vehicles,  due to either weak batteries or batteries that have been installed incorrectly.Weak batteries – the vehicle exhibits slow response, slow speed or unpredictable behavior.
