4Getting StartedTwo easy steps get it up and running quickly.Step 1: Charging before useConnect your Roady Bluetooth Speaker to a USB power source using theenclosed USB charging cable.Step 2: Connecting to playThere are two options to connect to your ROADY Bluetooth Speaker -wirelessly by Bluetooth© or wired by the enclosed AUX cable.Connect WirelesslyOnce the Roady Bluetooth Speaker is powered on, the Bluetooth©indicator will flash on and a tone starts to confirm the unit is currently inBluetooth© pairing mode. Go to the Bluetooth© settings on your mobilephone, tablet or computer to find the device named "Roady" and press toselect. A tone will arise to confirm the device has been paired successfullyin seconds. In your next use of ROADY, the product will connect to yourdevices automatically once you had paired up before. To disconnect thedevice,holdthePlay/Pausebuttonfor5secondsanditwillstarttopairanew device available.Direct ConnectionThe ROADY Bluetooth Speaker can also connect to devices that have aheadphone jack or line out using the enclosed AUX cable.Please note that the long press on play/pause button to switch to a newdevice is working only when you connect device via Bluetooth©.Operation DetailsPower on/power off1. Power on the unit: Hold the ON/OFF button to turn on the unit, theBluetooth indicator flashes when it is on;

Power off the unit:Hold the ON/OFF button to turn on the unit to turnoff the unit, the Bluetooth indicator goes out at the same time.Play modesBluetooth mode: play an audio signal from the connected Bluetooth©device.AUX mode: play an audio signal from the connected "wired" device.Please note, if an Aux cable is connected to the speaker it will not playmusic from Bluetooth© connected devices.Audio UseFollow the above connection steps to pair a Bluetooth© device with theROADY Bluetooth Speaker. At this point you can send any kind of audiosignal to your speaker (music, video, gaming, etc.). Just use your device asnormal and the audio will play through your ROADY Bluetooth Speaker.ControlsPress the Play/Pause button to play or pause the music when using a musicplayer through your Bluetooth© connected device.Pressing the + and - buttons will increase or decrease the volume on theROADY Bluetooth Speaker. Please note that this will not affect the volumelevels on the connected device.Speaker PhoneAfter paired your mobile phone to ROADY Bluetooth Speaker withBluetooth©, the speaker phone function can be used.Make call : Call will automatically transfer to the speakerphone. If not,tap play/pause button;Answer call: Tap play/pause button to answer the incoming call;
6End call : Tap play/pause button during the call to end the call;Reject call : Hold play/pause button to reject the incoming call;Redial last number: Double tap play/pause button to redial last numberwhen it is not in a call.ChargeWhen the power is low, a beep will comes out from the speaker, pleasecharge the speaker when you heard the beep.1. Connect the standard USB end of the supplied USB cable to a USBpower source (like PC, USB power adapter…etc.)2. Connect the Micro USB jack to the USB charging port in the unit. Thecharging indicator will light up while charging3. It will take about 2 hours to fully charge the Bluetooth speaker4. The LED indicator will stay on while charging, and goes off after fullycharged.Note: if the unit is not to be used longer than 7 days, please charge the unitfor 10 minutes before turn on the unit.ConnectionLaptop / notebook / PCAs the Bluetooth© versions for these types of devices varies greatly, theconnection methods will differ as well. If the indicator light is off,please press the power button to turn the unit on. If the Bluetooth©indicator light still doesn’t come on after pressing the power button, pleasecharge the unit.Check for other Bluetooth© devices around the surroundings that may
8interfere with searching and turn devices off.Power off and then power on the unit to restart the Bluetooth©function of the unit or your Bluetooth deviceUnplug any cables plugged into the AUX IN, restart all devices and thenattempt pairing again.Issue: Interference or static during playbackSolution:Avoid using the device between concrete or other building structuresthat may interfere with the signal.Please check if the battery level of the unit and the Bluetooth© deviceand charge if necessary.Safety InstructionsThis product is specially designed based on the full attention to safety; inorder to make sure the accident-free operation, please abide theguidelines listed below:Always position the unit on a stable and level surface. Unstable surface cancause the unit to topple and fall, resulting in possible damage or injury;Do not drop, unpack, open, beat, curve, prink and burn the unit;Avoid using the unit nearby basins or sinks where it may come incontact with water;Do not place any ware with full water on the top of the unit, such as vase,glass, pot, and please avoid placing candle on the speaker surface as well;Protect the using ofthe unit from any overheating devices (such as radiator,heating installation, cooking stove or other heating devices);Regardless of what reasons cause the unit damage, please ask for themaintenance personnel to repair;Ifyou want to do the cleaning, please turn off the unit and unplug the powercable from the outlet first;Set the volume properly to prevent injury to the unit and your health;
