To check Home Key battery levelUsing the Home Key, highlight the Home Key icon. Click the thumbwheel once and note the battery status on the bottom line of the screen. Servicing the Home Key Rechargeable BatteryIf you notice that your Home Key, after charging, is not holding the charge for the expected  5–7  days,  please  contact  Eaton  at  1-800-813-2199.  The  battery  in  the Home Key is a lithium cell and must be serviced by a trained technician.Home Key UseThe  battery  cell  in  the  Home  Key  is  intended  for  use  at  ordinary  temperatures where anticipated high temperature excursions are not expected to exceed 212˚F (100˚C).   WARNING: Risk  of Fire, Explosion,  or  Burns.  Do  Not  Crush,  Disassemble, Heat Above  212˚F (100˚C), Incinerate.Home Key DisposalDispose of the Home Key, which contains a rechargeable battery, in  accordance with local environmental laws. Your local recycling center can provide guidelines for proper battery disposal.
