MINI CARBOT "‘
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This vehicle is not recommended for children under the age of 4 years. Please read all of the instnictions
before operating this vehicle.
INSTALLING BATTERIES
You need two AA batteries to power the Mini Carbot, and one 9-volt banery for its transmitter.
Cautions:
- Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
' Do not mix old and new batteries. different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or
rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
- Never leave dead or weak batteries in the Mini Carbot orthe transmitter. Where they can conode and
damage the units.
Wamlng: Dispose of old batteries and the battery pack promptly and properly; do not burn or bury them.
In the Mini Carbot
You need two AA batteries (not supplied) to power your Mini Cerbct.
1. Slide ONIOFF on the back of the MInI Carbctto OFF.
2. Turn the battery compartment cover‘a latch clockwise until it
stops, then grasp the ribs on the cover and lift the cover up.
3. Install the batteriee In the compartment as indicated by the
polarity symbols (+and-) marked inside.
4. Replace the cover, and then turn the latch comterolockwise
until it stops to secure it.
If the Mini Carbot moves slowly or not at all. replace the Mini Carbot's batteries.
Note: If you do not plan to use the Mini Carbot for several days, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak
chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
In the Transmitter
The transmitter requires one 9-volt battery (not supplied).
1. Press and slide the battery compartment cover off the
transmitter.
2. Place a battery in the compartment according to the polarity
symbols (+and-) marked inside.
3. Slide the cover back into place. Be sure it snaps shut.

When the transmitters range decreases. replace its battery.
DRIVING THE MINI CARBOT
1. Slide ONIOFF on the back of the Mini Carbotto ON.
Caution : Don‘t play with your Mini Carbot in the street.
2. The Mini Carbot's transmitter has two control buttons. Hold down the right button to transform the robot
to car and then the car moves forward in a straight line. Hold down the left button to transform the car
to robot and then the robot spins in a circle. The Mini Carbot stops when you release the button.
3. When you finish driving the Mini Carbot. slide ONIOFF to OFF.
HELPFUL HINTS
a) If the Mini Carbot's motor runs but the Mini Carbot does not respond to the transmitter. move the
transmitter closer to the Mini Carbot and try again.
b) If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with control of the MInI Carbot. If this happens. move
the Mini Carbot away from the CE.
c) You cannot operate your Mini Carbot near devices with transmitters that use the same frequency (27MHz).
CARE
The following suggestions will help you care for your Mini Carbol so you son enjoy it for years.
- Do not expose the Mini Carbot or its transmitterlo temperature extremes. and do not store them in direct
sunlight or near a heat source.
- Wipe the Mini Carbot and transmitter with a damp cloth occasionally to keep them looking new. Do not use
harsh chemicals to clean them.
- Do not drive the Mini Carbot through puddles or mud, on a wet floor. or in sand, rain. or snow. These can
damage it.
- Do not leave the Mini Carbot or its transmitter outside wemight. Night dampness can damage their
electronic circuits.
- To protect the Mini Carbot's mechanisms from rm and hair, do not drive the Mini Carbot on carpet.
THE FCC WANTS YOU TO KNOW
Your Mini Carbot or its transmitter might cause TV or radio interference even when it is operating properly. To
determine whether your Mini Carbot or transmitter is causing the interference, release the transmitters
control button and turn ofl‘ your Mini Carbot. if the interference goes away, your Mini Carbot or transmitter is
causing it. Try to eliminate the interference by moving your Mini Carbot away from the TV or radio.
If you cannot eliminate the interference, the FCC requires that you stop using your Mini Carbot and
transmitter.
NOTE: Ths_manufacturer is not responsible for a radio or‘lV interference caused by unauthorized modifications to this
equipment. Such modrlirations could void Umr's authority to operate the equipment.
