Walker W830BT Bluetooth stereo headphones Operating instructions ■ Product introduction Before using this device, please read this manual carefully and keep it safe for future reference. Features ● 40mm Nd-Fe-B unit with high quality sound in strong low frequency; ● Long battery life design to save worry. Illustration 1.1 Press volume up/Press and hold last song 1.2. Multi-function key 1.3 Press volume down/Press and hold next song 1.4 Micro USB charging port 1.5 3.5mm audio port 2. Charging The headphones use the built-in rechargeable batteries. The batteries must be fully charged before use the headphones. In use, one beep sound every minute and the red light quickly flashing three times indicate that the battery life is low and you need to charge the headphones. 2.1 Plug USB charging wire into USB jacket of standard power. 2.2 Connect the charging wire to Micro USB charging port of the headphones. 2.3 In charging, the headphones’ Bluetooth works normally. 2.4 Charging time: The time for the batteries being fully charged is about * hours. Red light on = Charging Red light off/Blue light on = Charging completed Fully charged Low battery life Warning: The rechargeable batteries that provide power for this product must be disposed properly for recycling. Do not put batteries into fire to preventing explosion. ■ How to use headphones 1. Power on/Off Function Operation Indicator Power on Press and hold multi-pad The blue light flashes quickly 3 seconds Power off Press and hold multi-pad Indicator off 3 seconds 2. Connection 2.1. Bluetooth connection Please complete the connection with your mobile before use. The steps are as below: 2.1.1. The distance between your mobile and the headphones should be kept within 1 m. The closer the better. 2.1.2. The headphones are powered on. Pressing multi-pad 3 seconds makes the headphones into pairing status. 2.1.3. Enable your mobile’s Bluetooth and search Bluetooth devices. Select ‘EDIFIER W830BT’ to pair up and connect. After being connected successfully, the prompt beep sounds and the headphones’ blue light is flashing quickly. Note: 1. In pairing status, the connection that cannot succeed in 3 minutes shall automatically exit the pairing mode; 2. If your mobile prompts inputting the pairing password, please enter ‘0000’; 3. After completing pairing, the headphones and your mobile shall remember each other. When used next time, the headphones shall automatically connect the device that was connected last time. 2.2. NFC connection If your Bluetooth mobile supports Near Field Communication (NFC), please enable NFC of your mobile at first and switch on the headphones, then touch the NFC area of W830BT with the NFC area of your mobile. W830BT shall pair up with your mobile. Note: ● When your mobile hibernates or is screen-locked, your mobile cannot be paired up by using NFC. ● When pairing up at the first time, it is required that your mobile is in touch with W830BT for a longer time and can only be taken away until W830BT is in pairing mode. ● When no device is connected, connection can be done by using NFC; if a device is already connected, the connection can be terminated by using NFC. 2.3. One operating 2 units connection The headphones can be connected simultaneously with two Bluetooth devices. The steps are as below: 2.3.1. Firstly the headphones connecte the device one. 2.3.2. Switch off the headphones and then press and hold multi-pad 3 seconds to restart the headphones and enter the pairing status to connect the device two. 2.3.3. Now operate on the device one. Click the headphones among the Bluetooth connection settings to complete the headphones in connection with two devices; Note: When two connected mobiles have different operating system (E.g. One has Android and one iOS). Some cross-system operations may have delay (E.g. Pause songs in A mobile and meanwhile play songs in B mobile). Please be aware that this is normal phenomenon. 3. Calling 3.1. Play music 4.1. AUX in audio mode The headphones support AUX in audio input. Using 3.5 to 3.5 audio wire to connect the headphones and music player, you can listen to music via wire. Note: ● When plugging in 3.5 audio wire, the headphones shall power off and the Bluetooth connection automatically disconnected. AUX in audio input is validated. ● If using Bluetooth, please unplug 3.5 audio wire and restart and power on to pair up the connection. 5. Restore factory settings Ensure the headphone is power off and meanwhile press and hold Volume + key and multi-pad about 3 seconds. Then the blue light shall flash quickly 6 times. Now the factory settings are restored. Note: ● After the factory settings are restored, the pair-up list of the headphones shall be cleared. When the headphones is power on again, it will enter the pairing mode automatically and not automatically connect. If it needs to connect a device, it is required to pair up again. ■ Maintenance ● Do not place the product at the damp places so as not to affect the product’s internal circuit. ● Do not place the product at the places exposed to sun or in high temperature. High temperature would shorten the service life of electronic components, damage battery and make some plastic components deformed. ● Do not place the product at very cold places to prevent damaging the internal circuit board. ● Do not try to dismantle the product. If non-professional personnel operates, they may damage the product. ● Do not fall, vibrate strongly, strike the product with hard object to prevent damaging the internal circuit. ● Please do not use drastic chemical products and cleaner to clean the headphones. ● Do not use sharp objects to scratch on the product surface to prevent damaging the outer case and affecting looking. If the product cannot work properly, please send it to your qualified repair units, the personnel shall help you solve your problem with their whole heart. ■ FAQs 1. The red light flashes instead of the blue light. Answer: It means that the headphones battery is low. You need to recharge your headphones again. 2. The red light is off during charging. Answer: a. Please ensure the charging device is properly connected with the headphones. b. When the headphones are not used for a long time, the battery will enter the hibernate status. Now it needs to charge about 30 minutes and then the red light shall be on. 3. The headphones hear nothing. Answer: a. Ensure if the headphones are in work status. b. Ensure the headphones volume is suitable. c. Ensure if the headphones are connected with mobile properly. d. Ensure the headphones are in normal work environment. 4. Headphone is not good for talking. Answer: a. Please ensure if your mobile is in the area with strong signal. b. The effective operational distance of the headphones is 10m. Please ensure the headphones are in effective operational distance and there is no obstacle between the headphones and your mobile. 5. Why can the headphones not pause, restore, last song and next song when playing music? Answer: The function requires the device paired up with the headphones to support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) protocol. 6. NFC cannot be used for pairing. Answer: a. Please ensure your mobile’s NFC function is enabled. b. When pairing at the first time, you need to make your mobile contact the headphones about 3 seconds until the blue and red light of the headphones flash alternatively. Then your mobile can be taken away, otherwise the pairing may not be successful. 10 CAUTION Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
