Thank you for purchasing Edifier S350DB active speakers. Please read this manual carefully before operating this system. To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back). No user-serviceable Parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified Service personnel only. The lightning flash with arrowhead inside the triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of un-insulated dangerous voltage within the product's enclosure that may be of a sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. Box Contents: Subwoofer Passive Satellite speaker The exclamation point inside the triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the product. Active satellite speaker 1. Read these instructions. 2. Keep these instructions. 3. Heed all warnings. 4. Follow all instructions. 5. Clean only with dry cloth. 6. Do not use this apparatus near water and never put this apparatus into liquids or allow liquids to drip or spill onto it. 7. Do not place appliance filled with water on this apparatus, such as vase; nor place any form of open fire such as lit candle. 8. Do not block any ventilation openings. Please leave enough space around the speakers to keep good ventilation (the distance should be above 5cm). Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. 9. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 10. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. 11. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. 12. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. 13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. 14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. 15. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling. 3.5mm-RCA audio cable (1.7M / 5.5ft) This equipment is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over. Remote control Speaker connecting cable (3M / 10ft) WARNING DO NOT INGEST BATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children, if the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of body, seek immediate medical attention. The battery (in remote control) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Next track Battery installation and replacement Rotate the battery cover based on the arrow direction and take off it, correctly install the CR2025 battery into the battery storage and then close the battery cover. 11 Note: 12 Warning! Don’t swallow the battery, or it will be a danger with chemical burn. The product includes a button battery. It will be harm to the body if you swallow battery, even will lead to people die within 2 hours. Please don’t place the new or old battery in the place where children can touch and get. Don’t use the product if the battery cover is not closed, and make sure the children is far from getting the remote control. Please go to the hospital as soon as you possible when someone has swallowed a battery or take it into body. Master volume dial/input selection Press it to navigate between audio inputs: PC>AUX->Optical->Coaxial->Bluetooth. Press and hold to enable and disable the standby function 14. Power indicator Rotate the battery cover following the direction of the arrow to remove it. Install the CR2025 battery in the battery compartment and close the cover, rotating to seal it. Warning Statement This product includes a button battery. Please ensure proper care is given to the disposal of the battery. Do not ingest the battery or leave it in a place where it is accessible to children. If accidentally consumed, please go to the hospital immediately. Place the remote control in a secure place away from heat sources including direct sunlight or fire. Ensure proper disposal of the battery once it is used. Press the master volume control on the active satellite speaker or press the “PC/AUX” button on the remote control to select PC/AUX input. 2. Use the audio cable to connect audio sources (mobile phones, tablets etc) to your speaker. 3. Play from your device and adjust the volume accordingly. Pairing 1. Turn on speaker and switch to Bluetooth mode by pressing the Bluetooth button on the remote control or press the master volume control on the active satellite speaker until Bluetooth icon comes on. 2. Go to setup on your source devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) and search for nearby Bluetooth devices, you will find “EDIFIER S350DB” in the list. 3. Pair your device with “EDIFIER S350DB”. 4. Play audio tracks on your device and adjust the volume to a desired level. 5. To disconnect Bluetooth, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control. Note: 1. Bluetooth on the product can be searched and connected only when speaker is ON and switch to the Bluetooth input. When the speaker is switch to other audio inputs, the Bluetooth connection will be disconnected. When switched to Bluetooth input, the speaker will try to connect the last connected Bluetooth source device. 2. Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility may be different among different source devices, depending on the software version of source devices. 3. To enjoy the full Bluetooth functions of this product, please ensure your mobile device supports A2DP and AVRCP profile. 4. PIN code for connection is “0000” if needed. 5.The built-in aptX decoder in the product helps to achieve better wireless transmission sound quality, therefore please use the device supporting aptX as the audio source. If it is in other audio input modes, Bluetooth will not connect. Disconnect from any Bluetooth device by pressing and holding the volume dial in Bluetooth mode, then try again. • Effective Bluetooth transmission range is 10 meters; please ensure that operation is within the range. • Try another Bluetooth device for connection. The S350DB does not turn on • Check if main power is connected, or if the wall outlet is switched on.
