The ZW RQ REC 908 is a device that allows Z-Wave controllers to interface with ESI RQ motors and controls. The ZW RQ REC
908 is a Z-Wave enabled device and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave enabled network. Z-Wave enabled devices
displaying the Z-Wave logo can also be used with ZW RQ REC 908 regardless of the manufacturer. ZW RQ REC 908 can also
be used in other manufacturer’s Z-Wave enabled networks and all listening devices act as repeaters, regardless of vendor.

Basic operation
Connect a 6 conductor straight cable from the modular jack on the ZW RQ REC 908 to the modular jack on an ESI RQ motor
or control.
The ZW RQ REC 908 ships from the factory with NO pairing to a specific transmitter/controller. Learn the ZW RQ REC 908
into the network with the control you desire. Assign the desired buttons on the remote to the desired function.
Appropriate buttons will now control the motor connected to the ESI control for open, close, or stop.
Including (Learning) into a Z-wave Network
Follow the instructions for putting the Primary Z-Wave Controller into Include mode.
Press the button on the ZW RQ REC 908. The LED will blink.
Excluding from a Z-wave Network
Follow the instructions for putting the Primary Z-Wave Controller into Exclude mode.
Press the button on the ZW RQ REC 908. The LED will blink.
INSTRUCTION TO THE USER
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the

* Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
* Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
The user is cautioned that changes and modifications made to the equipment without the approval of manufacturer could
void the user's authority to operate this equipment.
