Belore You Begln
To ensure proper functioning of the Wireless thermometer, please follow this set up
procedure.
- Insen batteries to the main unit ( Heler to section of Battery Installation )
- Place the main unit as close as possible next to the remote unit and insert batteries to
the remote unit.
- Position the remote unit and main unit within effective transmission range, which in
usual circumstances is 65 to 100 feet (20 to 30 meters).
Note that the eftective range is aftected by the building materials and where the main and
remote unit are positioned. try various setup for the best results.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Battery Installation of the Main Unit
- Open the battery door,
~ Remove whole set at old batteries.
~ Insert 2 fresh AA size batteries in place of the old batteries. Insert them in the proper
position matching the polarity (+) and (-) as indicated.
~ Close the battery door.
- Press RESET button once.
Battery Installation oi the Remote Unit (Transmitter/ RF Pool Thermometer)
~ Open the battery door,
~ Remove whole set oi old batteries.
Insert 2 AA batteries of new batteries in polarity ( + ) and ( - ) as indicated,
Close the battery door,
Press RESET button once.
Warning : Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard ( carbon-zinc ) or rechargeable ( nickel cadmium )
batteries.
Do not touch any other button or setting on your main unit, It will automatically receive the
remote temperature signal after batteries inserted,
GETTING STARTED
Check Indoor Temperature
Once power up the main unit, the indoor temperature will display on the INDOOR
temperature field.
Connection oi Pool Thermometer
If the HF signal is received within the first 5 minutes after power up of the
main unit, the temperature will show on the outdoor temperature display SB 5?
(Display 2). otherwise it Will show blank - -,-°F. Terr—um

After the transmitter temperature is shown on the outdoor temperature " 25-5
display, the synchronization of main unit and transmitter is established. W
Place the transmitter unit outside in a shaded, dry area to protect it as if
under an umbrella,
If the RF temperature signal is not received within the first 5 minutes, press the RE-SYNC
button on the main unit. The main unit will attempt outdoor temperature for another 6
minutes.
Maximum and Minimum Temperature
The maximum and minimum recorded temperature reading will automatically be stored in
the memory.
Press the MAX/MIN button once to display the INDOOR maximum and minimum record.
Press the button again to show the OUTDOOR maximum and minimum record. The
respective indicator, INDOOR and OUTDOOR will be displayed.
To clear the memory, press CLEAR button when the maximum and minimum temperature
records are shown, it will clear the record oi the shown temperature iield.
Display Unit
The deiault unit at temperature is “F, press “(J/”F button to toggle the display unit oi
temperature between “F and “C.
Wireless Signal Status Indicator
The RF signal status indicator is represented by below indicator on the main unit display:
Press POWER button once to turn on the unit. The unit will send the signal
at temperature to the main unit. The main unit will search this signal after
power up. If signal receive successfully. pool temperature will show on the
main unit display (Display 1). To turn off, press this button once again.
(Remarks: If the pool thermometer is off, the pool temperature on the main
unit display will show blank - -°F. Drsplfly‘
Connection oi Transmitter
Upon power up of the transmitter ( or pressing the RESET button ). the temperature RF
signal is immediately sent to the main unit. The main unit attempts to search the RF
temperature signal ior 5 minutes after power up ( or pressing the RESET button ).
No SIGNAL DETECTlON
SIGNAL DETEETION
Nil SUCCESSFUL RECEPTlON
Pool Temperature, Channel 1 and 2 Temperature Readout
Press CHANNEL SELECT button to toggle between 3 channels. The current display
temperature is the one you selected last time.
Change Transmitter Channel
Slide the channel slide switch inside the transmitter battery companment to another channel
and press RESET button,

Note: Once the channel 01 transmitter changed, the synchronization between transmitter
and receiver will be broken, please refer to Adding New Channel of how to synchronize new
transmitter channel.
Temperature Scrolling Function
1, In normal display, press and hold CHANNEL SELECT button at the main unit lor around
2 seconds,
2. It will scroll through the channel one. two and three reading. Each channel reading show
around 5 seconds and switch to the next available channel, the scroll icon will show also.
3. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds again to deactivate the lunclion.
Adding New Channel
1. Press and hold the RE-SYNC button of the main unit to activate the process and look for
the unrecognized channels tor around 6 minutes.
2. Press and hold the RE-SVNC button again to deactivate the process.
Flemove Existing Channel
1. Press and hold the FlE-SYNC button at the main unit until "Fl“ showed.
2. Press CHANNEL SELECT button to select your desired channel.
3. Press CLEAR button to remove the channel.
4. Press the RE-SYNC button again to finish the whole process.
Losing Synchronization of the Wireless Thermometer
It the main unit displayed a proper remote temperature in the past but now displays blank
--.-°F, the remote unit and the main unit may have lost synchronization. It this occurs, press
the FlE-SYNC button at the main unit. The main unit will attempt outdoor temperature
reception tor another 6 minutes and reinitiate synchronization with the remote unit. It the
remote temperature cannot be received, check‘
1, The distance of the main unit or remote unit should be at least 3-4 leet away lrom any
interlering sources such as computer monitors or TV sets.
2, Avoid placing the main unit onto or in the immediate proximity of metal window trames,
3. Using other electrical products such as headphones or speakers operating on the same
signal lrequency ( 433MHZ ) may prevent correct signal transmission and reception.
4. Neighbors using electrical devices operating on the 433MHz signal lrequency can also
cause interference.
5. Press POWER ON [OFF button oi FlF pool thermometer once to start synchronization.
Note: When the 433MHz signal is received correctly, do not re-open the battery cover of
either the remote unit or the main unit, as the batteries may spring tree from the contacts
and force a lalse reset. Should this happen accidentally then reset both units. Otherwrse
transmission problems may occur.
The maximum transmission range is 100 leet from the remote unit to the main unit ( in open
space ). However, this depends on the surrounding environment and interterence levels.
The temperature signal travels in a stralght line trom the remote unit to the main unlt. The
signal will not curve around a blocking object. If no reception is possible, despite the
observation of these factors. all units will have to be reset.
Inter-terence
Signals lrorn other household devices, such as entry controls. door bells and home security
systems, may temporarily intertere with the units and cause reception lailure. This is normal
and does not affect the general performance at the product. The transmission and reception
ol temperature readlng will resume once the interference has stopped.
Trouble Shooting / FAO( Frequent Ask Question )
There is no outdoor temperature shown on the unit?
A : Press the FlE-SYNC button on the main unit and the outdoor temperature will show
within minutes. It no temperature is shown after 6 minutes of FlE-SYNC button being
pressed,the remote unit is either too tar away or there is some interterence between the
remote and main unit. Bring the remote unit to the main unit and re-synchronize. Then
move the remote unit to a new location closer and in direct line with the main unit.
The transmitter temperature is reading 105°F (405°C) when the temperature is 60°F
(155°C)
A : The transmitter unit is in direct sunlight. Move it to a shaded protected area.
Care of Your Unlt
' Avoid exposing your units to extreme temperatures, water (not include the pool
thermometer) or severe shock.
' Avoid contact with any corrosive materials such as pertume, alcohol or cleaning agents.
' Do not subject the units to excessive lorce. shock, dust. temperature or humidity. Any of
these conditions may shonen the lite of the units.
~ Do not tamper with any of the internal components of these units. This will invalidate the
warranty and may cause damage.
Correct Usage oi the Batteries
' Use 2 AA batteries
' Do not mix standard and rechargeable batteries
' Do not mix new and old batteries
- When the low battery mark it appears on the display, replace all batteries With new
ones, when the low battery mark it appears on the REMOTE temperature field.
replace all batteries of remote unit with new ones.
