Precision Cooling For Business-Critical Continuity Liebert DS Belts Liebert DS models incorporate an automatic self-tensioning Key Features motor base which keeps constant tension on belts while Cord tensile strength 18% stronger than a conventional belt, which maintaining good sheave and pulley alignment. provides greater strength and superior stretch resistance. As part of the improved air delivery system, Liebert developed a new belt offering for the DS. This improved belt design increases belt life and reduces belt dust. 100% neoprene rubber compound increases belt strength while reducing belt wear and improving flexibility. 100% neoprene rubber compound supports cords, dissipates heat and provides oil, heat and ozone resistance. Four fabric plies top and bottom relieve stress on load-carrying cords for added flexibility. Belt temperature runs cooler with better heat dissipation, improving belt life. Liebert belts are machined, matched and tagged as a set for optimal life performance. Belt design and material reduce belt dust. Polyester cords maintain extreme belt load and shock without stretching. Raw-edge belt sidewalls grip pulleys better to minimize belt slip, noise and drive vibration.
