Epson Stylus NX620/625 Series ® Start Here 3 Select language 4 Insert the cartridges in the holder for each color. 5 Press each cartridge down until it clicks. 3 Slide the edge guide to your paper size. 4 Load paper against the edge guide, with the glossy or printable side face-down. To select English as your language, press OK. Read these instructions before using your product. 1 Unpack Note: If you want to change the language, press then press OK. or to select it, 4 Install ink cartridges 1 Power cord Note: Make sure the paper is loaded against the edge guide and not sticking out from the end of the cassette. 6 Lift up the scanner, then open the cartridge cover. Close the cartridge cover. Press down until it clicks. Then lower the scanner. French control panel stickers Caution: Do not open ink cartridge packages until you are ready to install the ink. Cartridges are vacuum packed to maintain reliability. 5 Slide the edge guides against the edges of the paper, but not too tightly. 6 Keep the cassette flat as you insert it. Remove all protective materials. 7 2 Wait while the ink delivery system primes. Priming takes about 5 minutes. Note: Your printer ships with full cartridges and part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming the printer. Shake the ink cartridges gently 4 or 5 times, then unpack them. Caution: Don’t turn off the printer while it is priming or you’ll waste ink. 2 Turn on and adjust 1 5 Load paper Connect the power cable. 1 3 Pull out the paper cassette. Remove only the yellow tape from each cartridge. Note: The paper may slide forward slightly as you insert the cassette. This is normal. If you don’t have this information, contact the person who set up your network. • If you see a firewall alert message, click Unblock or Allow to let setup continue. If it has uppercase (ABC) or lowercase (abc) letters, make sure you enter them correctly. Function buttons Basic instructions for copying, printing, scanning, and network setup. Press , , , or on the printer to highlight a letter or function button on the screen. Press OK to select it. Standard-capacity Extra High-capacity Black 125 127 Cyan 125 127 Magenta 125 127 Yellow 125 127 Use the function buttons to select uppercase (AB12), lowercase (ab12), symbols (!#%@), or spaces ( ), or to delete characters ( ).
