FRONT Front Man Wireless Guitar Controller for PS2 Thank you for purchasing the Nyko Front Man Wireless guitar controller for PlayStation®2. This device was design to be used with the popular Guitar HeroT'l| & Guitar Hero 2 TM games available for the PIayStation®2 entertainment console. Please read the following instructions carefully to insure proper use and maintenance of this product. FEATURES - Long range wireless game play - Powered by 3 AA batteries . For use with both Guitar Hero” and Guitar Hero 2TM game titles - Long battery life ' Includes adjustable guitar strap INSERTING BATTERIES Before you begin using this product you must insert 3 AA batteries into the back of the guitar. Please note that batteries are not included with the device, however we recommend using quality alkaline batteries for best performance and long life. 1. Gently open the battery compartment on the back of the guitar. 2. Insert 3 AA batteries, being careful to follow the orientation shown inside the battery compartment. 3. Close the battery compartment. While the PS2TM system is powered down; connect the receiver to an empty port on the console. If you are playing a multiplayer game, please connect both receivers at this time 2. Please make sure that the Guitar Hero or Guitar Hero 2T"I game is installed into the console 3. Power up the console and press the link button on Front Man guitar controller. The link LED on the guitar as well as the LED located on the receiver should glow solid green to indicate proper link between the guitar and the receiver. If the light continues to flash press down on the black link button on the receiver (pedal), then press the link button on the guitar. Once the game has booted up on the console, and the Front Man controller is properly linked to its receiver, follow the Guitar Hero or Guitar Hero 2TM instruction manual regarding game play, game modes and game navigation. Enjoy! TROUBLESHOOTING . Make sure that 3 new AA batteries are inserted into the guitar, and that the batteries are correctly installed -The guitar and the receiver must be linked for the controller to respond. Please follow the instructions above for proper establishment of link - It may be necessary to press the Link buttons on Link 'ndicat-r LEDs both the receiver and Front Man Guitar to establish a link. Once you have a solid glowing LED on both sides link has been established - If you are having problems linking, unplug and replug the receiver into the proper port on the P82, then follow the link instructions above - If you are loosing connection to the receiver, your batteries may need to be replaced, or you may be in an area with a high amount of wireless interference. Please check your batteries, and turn off any unnecessary wireless devices that may be causing interference. . If you continue to have problems, contact a Nyko customer service representative CARE AND MAINTENANCE Please review the following guidelines to ensure optimal performance from the Front Man wireless guitar controller. Failure to follow these guidelines may cause damage to the unit not covered by the Nyko warranty. - Do not change or modification.
