EXHIBIT C User Manual DIGITALKI WIRELESS HANDSFREE KIT _____—_-_—_——' USER’S GUIDE Congratulations and thank you for choosing DIGITALKI, an advanced wireless hands-free kit to enhance your mobile communiwtion. DIGITALKI is designed and produced to meet the highest quality standards. DIGITALKI ~wi|| bring you a great convenience when using your mobile phone. DIGITALKI also will minimize your exposure to radio frequenw (RF) from your mobile phone, Please read this User’s Guide before operating your DIGITALKI. GENERAL INFORMATION DIGITALKI hands—free kit is an accessory to a specific model of mobile phone. Please check the compatibility before using this device. The complete DIGITALKI kit includes the following items: 1. ONE HEADSET Face: Accessorv String Hole Binary Chlrge Comm 2. TWO DETACHABLE EAR HOOKS 3. ONE ACIDC ADAPTER Bullt-ln Nut for Belt Clip Connector Plug to Moblle Phone Battery Compartment SE'I'I'ING UP THE UNITS NOTICE: PLEASE CHARGE THE HEADSET 8; INTERFACE MODULE FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS BEFORE USING YOUR DIGITALKI. YOUR DIGITALKI IS READY FOR USE WHEN CHARGER’S LED TURNS GREEN. STEP 1. SELECT AND INSTALL THE EAR HOOK Choose the right or left ear hook by your preference. Snap the ear hook into the socket on the Headset as shown in Fig. 1. To wear headset, follow Fig. 2. The ear hook is sllghtly flexible to fit your ear contour for wearing comfort To remove ear hook. simply pull the ear hook plug off the Headset. QEQEQQ Fig. 1 Fig. 2 STEP 2. ACTIVATE THE “AUTO ANSWER' MODE OF YOUR MOBILE PHONE STEP 3. CONNECT INTERFACE MODULE TO YOUR MOBILE PHONE Plug the Interface Module connector to your mobile phone. Your mobile phone will display “hand-free" or similar phrase on its panel to confirm a good connection. ' STEP 4. BELT CLlP (Option) ‘ Fasten the belt clip to the Interface Module by screwing into the built-in nut (see Fig. 4 or 5). Fig. 4 Note: If you wish to attach the Interface Module to the back of your mobile phone by the magnet piece, you will need to remove the belt clip first. STEP 5. CHARGING THE BATTERlES Your Headset and Interface Module each has a mum rechargeable battery pack inside. When the LED in the front cover of your Headset starts flickering during standby mode. charge both the Headset and the Interface Module at your earliest convenience. To charge the 2 devices, connect them to the charger and adapter as shown in Fig. 6 and 7 (the 2 devices can be charged at the same time). ‘% _ _ fixfifi The smaller plug pin is for charging the Headset and the bigger plug pin is for the Interface Module When batteries are fully charged. the LED will turn green automatically. 6. AUDIO QUALITY ADJUSTMENT On the top of the Interface Module. you will find a 3—level selection switch for audio quality adjustment (see Fig. 8). Make a test call to your mobile phone. and use a ball pen tip to switch among the 3 positions to select the best audio quality for your phone. Audio Quality Selector Note: You won’t need to adjust the switch again until you use the kit with a mobile phone of a different brand/model. Fig. 8 OPERATIO NS 1. RECEIVING AND MAKING A CALL Before receiving or making any call, make sure you have already connected the Interface Module to your mobile phone. RECENE A CALL When your phone receives a call, it will ring 2-3 times before it answers automatically. Afler the ringing stops. lightly press the onloff switch once to receive the call and start talking. Note: You may start operating the Headset only after the ringing stops. When your conversation ends. the Headset will turn off automatically. MAKE A CALL Make a call direct from your phone, and when the call is answered, lightly press the on/otf switch to talk. DlGITALKl does not support voice dial function. HOLD YOUR CALL When necessary, you may press the on/ofl switch once to hold your call, and press again to resume the conversation. ADJUST SPEAKER VOLUME DURING A CALL You can adjust the speaker volume during a call by pressing the 4-level volume control buttons on the side of the Headset to tone upldovwn according to your preference. 2. OPERATDN RANGE DiGiTALKl is a very low power communication device. The radio cornmunlcahn lama between the Headset and the Interface Module ls approydmately 10 meters. As high temperatue wlll shorten the battery life. please do not leave your DIGITALKi and your moblle phone in an environment with temperatures over 140°F, for example. on the dash board of your mr during summer. Do NOT use abrasive chemical detergent or maherial to clean your DIGITALKI'. DO not attempt to pry open the cover of your DiGITALKi or change the batteries. Seek assistance from an authorized DIGITALKI dealer near you. For optimal smdby and operation time, we recommend that you use only the specific battery packs supplied by the authorized DlGITALKI dealer. IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements the following device operating considerations (1)Do not open case for any reason; and (Z)Dounot use if case is broken. WARRANTY SCOPE AND DURATION Everspring guarantees our products (excluding the batteries) as being free of defects in material. design and workmanship at the time of original purchase and for a period of twelve (12) months immediately thereafter, If, during the warranty period. the products malfunction in normal use and service (by authorized dealer), Everspring or its authorized dealer will repair ‘or replace the defective product at no cost to the original purchaser presenting a valid warranty certificate. Everspring or its authorized dealer may refuse to provide free warranty service if any of the following conditions occurs: 1. The warranty certificate is altered, illegible, or with inconsistency. 2. The product is adapted, modified, or charged. 3. The product exterior is cracked or broken. 4. The serial number label is tempered with or missing. Repair or replacement wills neither give any right to extend the original warranty period nor give any right to start a new warranty period.
