EXHIBIT C User Manual DIGITALKI WIRELESS HANDSFREE KIT USER’S GUIDE Congratulations and thank you for choosing DIGITALKI, an advanced wireless hands-free kit to enhance your mobile communication DIGITALKI is designed and produced to meet the highest quality standards. DIGITALKl will bring you a great convenience when using your mobile phone. DIGlTALKI also will minimize your exposure to radio frequency (RF) from your mobile phone, Please read this User's Guide before operating your DlGITALKL ' GENERAL INFORMATION DIGITALKI hands-free kit is an accessory to a specific model of mobile phone‘ Please check the compatibility before using this device. The complete DIGITALKI kit includes the following items: 1 ONE HEADSET Face: On I O" Swim Battery Charge Comm 24 TWO DETACHABLE EAR HOOKS 3. ONE PLUG ADAPTER (Necessary only for specific models.) ONE AC/DC ADAPTER Built—in NuI hr BeII Clip Connector Plug to Mobile Phone Battery Compartment SETTING UP THE UNITS NOTICE: PLEASE CHARGE THE HEADSET & INTERFACE MODULE FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS BEFORE USING YOUR DIGITALKI. YOUR DIGITALKI I3 READY FOR USE WHEN CHARGER'S LED TURNS GREEN. STEP 1. SELECT AND INSTALL THE EAR HOOK Choose the right or Iefl ear hook by your preference. Snap the ear hook into the socket on the Headset as shown in Fig. 1A To wear headset, follow Fig. 2A The ear hook is slightly flexible to fit your ear contour for wearing comfort. To remove ear hook, simply pull the ear hook plug off the Headset @ eee Fig, 1 Fig. 2 STEP 2. ACTIVATE THE "AUTO ANSWER” MODE OF YOUR MOBILE PHONE STEP 3. CONNECT INTERFACE MODULE TO YOUR MOBILE PHONE Plug the Interface Module connector to your mobile phone. Your mobile phone will display ‘hand-free" or similar phrase on its panel to confirm a good connection STEP 4. BELT CLIP (Option) Fasten the belt clip to the Interface Module by screwing into the built-in nut (see Fig. 4 or 5). Note: If you wish to attach the lntertace Module to the back of your mobile phone by the magnet piece, you will need to remove the belt clip first. STEP 5. CHARGING THE BATTERIES Your Headset and Interface Module each has a Nth rechargeable battery pack inside. When the LED in the front cover of your Headset stam flickering during standby mode, charge both the Headset and the Interface Module at your earliest convenience. To charge the 2 devices. connect them to the charger and adapter as shown in Fig. 6 and 7 (the 2 devices can be charged at the same time). a fie Fig 6 Fig. 7 The smaller plug pin is for charging the Headset and the bigger plug pin is for the Interface Module. When batteries are fully charged, the LED will turn green automatically. 6. AUDIO QUALITY ADJUSTMENT On the top of the Interface Module. you will find a 3-level selection switch for audio quality adjustment (see Fig. 8). Make a test call to your mobile phone, and use a ball pen tip to And-K, WWW switch among the 3 positions to select the best audio quality for your phone. Note: You won't need to adjust the switch again until you use the kit with a mobile phone of a different brand/model. Fig. 8 OPERATIONS 1. RECEIVING AND MAKING A CALL Before receiving or making any call, make sure you have already connected the Interface Module to your mobile phone. RECEIVE A CALL When your phone receives a fill, it will ring 2~3 times before it answers automatically. After the ringing stops, lightly press the onloff switch once to receive the call and start talking. Note: You may start operating the Headset only after the ringing stops. When your conversation ends, the Headset will turn off automatically. MAKE A CALL Make a call direct from your phone, and when the all is answemd, lightly press the onloff switch to talk. DIGITALKI does not support voice dial function. HOLD YOUR CALL When necessary, you may press the onloff switch once to hold your call. and press again to resume the conversation. ADJUST SPEAKER VOLUME DURING A CALL You can adjust the speaker volume during a call by pressing the 4-level volume control buttons on the side of the Headset to tone upldown according to your preference. 2. OPERATION RANGE DIGITALKI is a very low power communication device. The radio communication range between the Headset and the Interface Module is approximately 10 meters. Please keep both units within this range for best communication performance. Note: If the communication distance exceeds 10 meters during any call, the Headset will send out a warning beep to remind you. 3. TROUBLE SHOOTING: If the Headset cannot communicate throth to your mobile phone please check the following: in Headset Interface Module low 3. For optimal standby and operation time, we recommend that you use only the specific battery packs supplied by the authorized DiGlTALKI dealer WARRANTY SCOPE AND DURATION Everspn‘ng guarantees our products (excluding the batteries) as being free of defects in material. design and workmanship at the time of original purchase and for a period of twelve (12) months immediately thereafter. If, during the warranty period, the products maifuncfion in normal use and service (by authorized dealer).
