This port enables connection of a console device to the WS-AP3705i through a serial cable. The AP must be removed from the wall or ceiling mount to enable access to the console port. The console device can be a PC or workstation running a VT-100 terminal adapter emulator, or a VT-100 terminal.LAN PortThe WS-AP3705i has one 10/100/1000BaseT RJ45 LAN port (see Figure 1-2 on page 1-3) that can be attached directly to a 10/100/1000BaseT LAN segment.
