1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Controller.
Before using the controller, please read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for
future reference.
2. Installing the Controller on Playtation®3
1- Switch on your PS3™ system.
2- Connect Controller to the console with the USB cable provided with your console. The 4
LEDs will flash slowly.
3- Press the Home button of the Controller to start the sync operation. The 4 LEDs will
flash quickly. Then the LED showing the number of the controller will remain lit and the
controller will be ready to use.
NOTES:
.Once the controller has been installed, Controller is identified by the PS3™ system.
Simply press the Home button to active Controller, it sill automatically synchronize with the
console.
.To synchronize Controller with another PS3™ system, repeat the above installation
procedure.
.Controller uses Bluetooth® technology. You can simply press the Home button to swith on
the PS3™ system when it is in standy mode.
For further information regarding the use of the controller, please refer to the instruction
manual of your PS3™ system.
3. Multimedia functions
Controller has unique multimedia features. A built-in remote control can command the
playback of Blu-Ray, DVD,MPEG,-4, CD, MP3, ATRAC™, AAC, and JPEG.
For further information regarding the use of your console as a multimedia player, please refer
to the instruction manual of the PS3™ system.
4. Economy mode
To save battery life, Controller switches off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Press the Home button to reactivate the controller.
5. Battery level
.Battery level indicator
Controller has a low battery level indicator. If the LED showing the number of the controller
flashed it means the level is low and you must recharge the controller.
You can also press the Home button to see the battery level of Controller on-screen.
.Recharging the Controller
To recharge the battery of Controller, connect it to one of the of USB ports of your console
with the recharge cable provided with your PS3™ system.
You can also recharge one or several Controllers on the Charging Station Deluxe from
Subsonic™.
If the controller is active, the LED showing the number of the controller will flash quickly
while being charged.
If the controller is not active, the 4 LED will flash slowly while being charged.
The controller switches off automatically once it is fully charged.
Do not charge your controller for more than 3 hours.
6. Vibration
The vibration function comes from software data. Make sure the game you are playing has
been developed with this function.
The vibration function is automatic on the PS3™ system. If Controller does not vibrate on the
PS3™ system, check if the vibration function is activated in the game and in the Home Menu
of the PS3™ system. Make sure your PS3™ system is updated with firmware 2.0 or a higher
version.
NOTE:
The Controller is not compatible with the motion sensor function of the PS3™ system.
7. Warning
-To avoid electrical incidents, make sure to keep the product in a dry place, protected from
the rain or humidity.
-Do not dismantle.
-Do not insert any objects in the product as this could cause electrical incidents.
-Immediately put down the product if you feel tired of feel pain in your hands or arms while
using the product. If the symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
-The vibration function of this product can aggravate wounds on your hands. Make sure to
deactivate the vibration function in the Home Menu of the PS3™ system if your hands or
arms are wounded.
-Take breaks during the game on a regular basis.
8. Contact and Customer Support
The Subsonic team is available if you should require more information about Controller or
other products from our range of accessories for the PS3™ system.
In order to improve the user-friendliness of products we are open to any comment you would
like to give us.
9. Respect the environment
In order to protect the environment, electric and electronic must not be discarded with
household garbage. Please take them to a recycling centre.
