PREPARATION FOR OPERATING THE RADIO
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Please use charger. adaptor and battery pack supplied only
by us. The charger can indicate the charging status.

1 Plug the AC adaptor into an AC outlet, like arrow LD
2 Plug the AC adapter cable into the adapterlack located
on the back of the charger, like arrowt’g}
3 Place the battery pack or the radio with a battery pack into

5 When charging is completed. the indicator lights green

radio and then tighten the screws by uslng special screw

CHOOSE AZONE
A zone rs a group at channels Your radio supports up to is
zones with a maximum ot ts drgital channels and 16 analogue
channels per zone

Reoeiving and Answering to a Group Call 9
To receive a group call, your radio must be programmed as
part olthal group
Procedure:
When receiving a group call
1) Blue LED indicator is flashing (If the LED indicator function
is turned on).
2) To answer I reply, hold the radio vertically 2 5am to am
(1 to 2 inches) lrom your mouth.
3) if the "Prompt Tone" leature tor group call is enabled, you
will hear a short tone when the transmitting radio release the
“PTT” Key, means your radio is free to response, at this
moment, you can press the "P17” key to answer the call
4) You can press PW key to answer the call, blue LED being
normally on
5) You can speak clearly into the microphone, afterthe “Tx
Begin Tone" tor group call is flnlshed (If it is enabled).
5) Release "PTT" key to wait answering.
7) The call is end, if there is no audio activity in preset time

A private call refers to a call from an individual radiotb another

Blue LED indicator Will be normal on, ilthere is a private call

Procedures:

is turned on).
2 To answer/reply, hold the radio vertically 2.5cm to 5m (l

Receiving a Genaral Call 9
INITIATING AND RECEIVING CALLS
A general oall ls a call from an lndlvrdual radlo to all radlos
ln the same channel.
Procedure:
When reoelylrlg a general oall:
l) Blue LED lndloator ls flashlng (lf the LED lndloatorfunotlon
ls turned on).
2) lf the ”Prompt Tone" for general oall ls enabled. you Wlll
hear a short tone when the transmlttlng radlo release the
“PTT” Key, means your radlo ls free to response.
3)@The call ls end, lfthere ls no audlo actlwty ln preset tlnle.
Note:
‘l lf you sztoh to another ohanrlel whlle reoelylng the General
Call, the radlo Wlll stop reoelylng that general call.
2. Durlng a General Call, you are not able to use any pre-
programmed key untll the call ends.
INITIATE A RADIO CALL
You can chuuse a channel, user ID, or group alias by lolluwing

and Key ID wrth your radlo to decode the trahsrnlsslon.

To lnltlate a group call, your radlo must be programmed as

1 Rotate the channel swltch knob to choose the channel Wlth
preset group allas or ID
2 Hold the radlo yertlcally 2 5am to 5cm (1 to 2 lnches) lrom
your mouth
3 GPress the "Pl-l" key to lnltlate a call, and blue LED
lndlcator ls normal call (ll LED lndlcatcr functlon IS turned on)
4 You can speak clearly lnto the mlorophone, alterthe “Tx
Eegln Tune" tor group oall ls finlshed (lf TX Eegln Tone ls
enabled)
5 Release the PW key and llsten to the response, when the
target radlo answers. blue LED lndlcatcrs wlII flash (ll LED
lndloator lunctlon ls enabled)

Your radios must be programmed to allow to initiating a private
call firstly before it can receive or response private call initiated
by an authorized single radio.

Users can limit the duration of the radio that being remote
monitor by other users

Decoding Remote Monitoring
Users can turn on or otfforallowing your radio to receive and
process the remote monitor instruction trom other radios
through preapmgrammed (by programming software).
This instructs indicate receiver radio within the range of remote
monitor to revive its own Mic s. transmitter. The radio will
initiate a call silently and not give any notice to your radio
about remote monitor.

This feature is only available in "digital" mode.
Radio Disable
Users can turn on or off to allow the radio to receive and
