This radio is provided with three FM bands and one AM band. totaling 4 bands Each band is
selected with the button ©.

Selected band “FM2" and “receiving frequency" are indicated in the left of the display window.

This radio can preset 6 stations per band. e.g., a total of 24 stations (18\FM stations and 6 AM
stations). Advancing the present stations is done by the button ® or ®. Each press at the button
® advances the receiving stations in the ascending sequence of cm —* ch2 —' ch3 —' ch4—'
chs -> chs —* chi —> r The button ®changes the stations in the descending sequence.
The selected channel ch3 appears on the left
of the display window.

An extended press (for 1 sec. or more) at the button (2) or ® results in automatic selection of
stations. if a station above certain frequency is found during operation, that station is
automatically selected and the selection is stopped.

Stations with too weak frequencies for automatic selection can be selected manually.
Here are the steps for manual selection:
1) First put in radio mode (FM1 to 3. AM).
2) Press the button (5) for the set mode. Each short press changes the mode, so give an indication
of radio

Stations can be present through automatic selection or manual selection (18 EM stations. 6 AM
stations)
Presetting can be done In either of the following two ways. though b y Step 1 you can only write the
stations automatically selected.

1) Enter preset memory mode by giving an extended press (for 2 sec. or more) at the button ©.
2) Then go to automatic station selection with an
extended press a(for 1 sec or more) the button ®
or ® to ilnd a desired station. Continue till you find a desired station.
a) if you find a desired station, give a short press at ® or (9 (preset channel move) and recall the
channel you want to write (1 to 6 for each channel)
4) When the desired station and write channel are determined, start writing while giving a short
press at the button ©.

1) Search a station you want to put into memory through automatic or manual station selection .
2) Give an extended press to the button (5) (for 2 sec. or more for preset memory mode. Then
the radio frequency and channel begln flashing,
3) With a short press at® and (3 (preset channel
advance). call up a channel you want to write into
(1 to 6 for each band) 4
4) If you decide on a desired station and channel, press the button © and write in.
3 - 2 - 6. Auto storing (AUTO STORE) of stations
0 You can automatically write in preset memory 6 upper stations (with frequency intense enough
for automatic selection) than the one you are listening to. (AUTO STORE operation)
1) Give an extended press (for 2 see. or more) to the button © tor preset mode. Then the radio
frequency and channel begin flashing.
2) With a short press at (D and © (preset channel

changer with the mounted remote control

Playback of Disk 5 In Track 3 causes "6-“ and

2) Fleoeipt volume can only be set in the channel display window. Turn the volume knob ® to
adjust the volume. It non-operation follows for 1 sec., "cVo'. 0 to 20” automatically returns to
the channel display.
