JuBiter Blade UserManual
What's in the box
Make sure the package is well sealed and sound before opening it. JuBiter wallet is using
anti‐tampering box. The box can’t be recovered or refurbished once it is opened.
In the box you can find:
One new JuBiter Blade device
USB cable for you JuBiter Blade
Two pieces of recovery card
User manual
Initialize your JuBiter Blade device
Note 1: Before you go on with the following steps, please make sure you are in a private place
with a pen and your JuBiter recovery phrase card.
Note 2:JuBiter wallet will NOT enable Bluetooth or USB connection before the wallet initialization
process is completed in order to guarantee that the initialization process is completely conducted
in an offline environment.
1. Turn on your JuBiter Blade device by simply push the battery button. Check the battery sign at
the top right corner of the screen. If the battery power was lower than 50%, please plug your
JuBiter Blade to any USB port or mobile phone adapter.
2. Now you can see 2 options: Create a new wallet or restore an old wallet. Choose “Create new
wallet” and click OK button to continue. If you were willing to restore an old wallet, check here.
3. Set a PIN for your wallet. Note: JuBiter wallet does not store your PIN. Make sure your PIN is
well memorized.
4. JuBiter will now display the newly created 24‐word recovery phrases of your new wallet. Note
that these words are vital for your wallet. Make sure you are in a private place and write them
down on the paper recovery phase card in sequence. Once finished, keep the card in a place that
other people won’t easily reach. It is not recommended to store these words in any internet
connected environment such as in your laptop. Important: Whoever has these 24 words can
recover your wallet and spend your crypto money WITHOUT your PIN.
5. JuBiter will help you to check whether the recovery phrases are recorded correctly. You will be
asked to select 5 random words from the 24 words you just recorded. JuBiter will let you review
the 24 words again if you are failed to pass the checking process.
6. JuBiter wallet starts generating your wallet address from the recovery phrases. This process
will take around 30 seconds.
7. JuBiter will notice you when your wallet is ready to use.
Connect JuBiter to a phone
JuBiter mobile application can be downloaded at “Coming soon...”
iOS/Android
1. Make sure you have either created or restored a wallet on your JuBiter device. Note:
JuBiter device will not active Bluetooth or USB data connection (USB charging is fine)
before a wallet is created of restored.
2. Launch the application and select the option “JuBiter hardware wallet”. Turn on the
JuBiter device.
3. Your JuBiter device will be found and shown in the Bluetooth scanning page. Tap it to pair.
A random PIN will be displayed on JuBiter device. Use it to pair the wallet.
4. Choose a name and application PIN for your wallet. Select the wanted coins/tokens and
you are done once you have seen the main page of the wallet and your balance.
Receiving payments
Receiving payments can be done offline without connecting your PC or phone. Press “up” or
“down” to enter the menu and select “My Address” to display your beneficial address. Press
“down” to display the QR code of your address.
Making payments
JuBiter hardware wallet is an offline cold wallet. You will need a mobile phone to make a
payment.
Prepare your JuBiter hardware wallet and the paired phone with JuBiter app.
Launch the app and select the type of coin/token that you want to spend.
Tap “Send”.
Enter the beneficiary address, amount and tap “Next”.
Choose a digging fee if needed and continue.
You will be asked to enter the PIN of your JuBiter hardware wallet.
The PIN pad lay‐out will be shown in your JuBiter device. Enter the PIN blindly on your
phone according to the lay‐out shown on JuBiter device.
8. Double confirm the transaction information displayed on your JuBiter device.
Note: This is very important, a phone or a PC is considered as a vulnerable environment.
The beneficiary address is theoretically possible to be modified by malicious routine.
Remember, the beneficiary address shown on your JuBiter device is always the real
address that you are sending money to. If it is not identical as the one you have entered
in the phone, terminate this transaction by click “C” on your JuBiter device.
