Features

1. POWER - Switches the RT-1000 on-off.
2. INPUT - Use either this jack or the rear panel IN jack
{8} to input your guitar signal.
3. MUTE - Disconnects the OUT 2 jack audio output as
indicated by the MUTE LED, useful for silent guitar
tuning. MUTE can be activated from either the front
panel MUTE button or a MUTE footswitch (optional),
but MUTE can only be deactivated by the same switch
that activated it.
4. TUNING LEDs - These 20 LEDs indicate the degree of
flatness or sharpness of the played note compared to
the displayed note {7} in 5 cent intervals. The RT-1000
puts on a “light show” after 1 minute of no input.
5. FENDER® “F” - Lights brightly to indicate when the
played note is “in tune” to the displayed note {7}.
6. CALIBRATION MODE and FLAT NOTE DISPLAY Calibration Mode: Adjusts the A4 reference frequency
(default 440Hz) from 438Hz to 445Hz. Press and hold
CAL to activate Calibration Mode. While the
calibration frequency is displayed, press CAL
repeatedly to change the reference frequency in 1Hz
steps. Calibration Mode cancels automatically.
Flat Note Display: Press CAL to display flats, rather
than sharps (“Ai” instead of “Gg”), as indicated by the
LED. Press CAL again to cancel.

jacks to your amplifier input: OUT 1 is always active.
OUT 2 can be disabled by the MUTE switch {3}.
10. MUTE FOOTSWITCH - Connect a standard latchtype footswitch to enable remote audio muting, see
MUTE {3}. (Mute is active when the footswitch is in
the “closed” position.)
11. MAIN POWER INPUT - Connect the included power
cord to a grounded AC outlet in accordance with the
voltage and frequency ratings specified on the rear
panel of your RT-1000.
12. MAIN FUSE - Protects the unit from electrical faults.
