Failure to follow all instructionslisted below, may result in electric shock, fireand/or serious personal injury.SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONSWork area1Keep your work area clean and well lit.Cluttered benches and dark areas inviteaccidents.2Do not operate power tools in explosiveatmospheres, such as in the presence offlammable liquids, gases, or dust. Powertools create sparks which may ignite the dust orfumes.3Keep bystanders, children, and visitorsaway while operating a power tool.Distractions can cause you to lose control.Electrical safety4a Grounded tools must be plugged into anoutlet properly installed and grounded inaccordance with all codes and ordinances.Never remove the grounding prong ormodify the plug in any way. Do not use anyadapter plugs. Check with a qualifiedelectrician if you are in doubt as to whetherthe outlet is properly grounded. If the toolsshould electrically malfunction or break down,grounding provides a low resistance path to carryelectricity away from the user.4b Double insulated tools are equippedwith a polarized plug (one blade is widerthan the other.) This plug will fit in apolarized outlet only one way. If the plugdoes not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electricianto install a polarized outlet. Do not change theplug in any way. Double insulation   eliminatesthe need for the three wire grounded power cordand grounded power supply system.5Avoid body contact with groundedsurfaces such as pipes, radiators, rangesand refrigerators. There is an increased riskof electric shock if your body is grounded.6Dont expose power tools to rain or wetconditions. Water entering a power tool willincrease the risk of electric shock.7Do not abuse the cord. Never use thecord to carry the tools or pull the plug froman outlet. Keep cord away from heat, oil,sharp edges or moving parts. Replacedamaged cords immediately. Damaged cordsincrease the risk of electric shock.8When operating a power tool outside,use an outdoor extension cord marked W-A or W. These cords are rated for outdooruse and reduce the risk of electric shock.Personal safety9Stay alert, watch what you are doingand use common sense when operating apower tool. Do not use while tired or underthe influence of drugs, alcohol, ormedication. A moment of inattention whileoperating power tools may result in seriouspersonal injury.10 Dress properly. Do not wear looseclothing or jewellery. Contain long hair.Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves awayfrom moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery,or long hair can be caught in moving parts.11 Avoid accidental starting. Be sureswitch is off before plugging in. Carryingtools with your finger on the switch or pluggingin tools that have the switch on invites accidents.12 Remove adjusting keys or switchesbefore turning the tool on. A wrench or keythat is left attached to a rotating part of the toolmay result in personal injury.13 Do not overreach. Stand on both feet ankeep proper footing and balance at alltimes. Proper footing and balance enables bettercontrol of the tool in unexpected situations.14 Use safety equipment. Always wear eyeprotection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,hard hat, or hearing protection must be used forappropriate conditions.Tool use and care15 Use clamps or other practical way tosecure and support the workpiece to astable platform. Holding the work by hand oragainst your body is unstable and may lead toloss of control.16 Do not force tool. Use the correct toolfor your application. The correct tool will dothe job better and safer at the rate for which it isdesigned.17 Do not use tool if switch does not turn iton or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled withthe switch is dangerous and must be repaired.18 Disconnect the plug from the powersource before making any adjustments,changing accessories, or storing the tool.Such preventive safety measures reduce the riskof starting the tool accidentally.19 Store idle tools out of reach of childrenand other untrained persons. Tools aredangerous in the hands of untrained users.20 Maintain tools with care. Keep cuttingtools sharp and clean. Properly maintainedtools, with sharp cutting edges are less likely tobind and are easier to control.
