The lighting flash with arrowhead symbol is intend to alert the user of the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage”   within the product’s enclosure that may be sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electrical shock to people.      The exclamation mark is intended to alert the user of the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing)   instructions in literature accompanying the appliance.
