Model B1837 www.fisher-price.com Welcome to the Imaginext™ System The Imaginext™ system lets your child’s imagination come alive. With Quick-Snap panels™, kids can build different structures in lots of different ways. Use some of the parts or all of them! Preschool children will enjoy using all parts of this toy to build structures of their own creation. At first they will need parental assistance to build the structure on the front cover. It may be easier to use our step-by-step instructions and give your preschooler only the parts that will be assembled in each step. The more your child plays with this toy, and development and skill increases, the less assistance your child will need! For first time use, we recommend building the assembly shown inside these instructions. This assembly is recommended for active play. Try these other assemblies! 2 Battery Installation • Locate the battery compartment door on the power box. • Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door. • Insert three, "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries, as indicated inside the battery compartment. Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life. • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. • When using the power box and movement slows or stops, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries! Battery Compartment Door 1.5V x 3 “AA” (LR6) Shown Actual Size Battery Safety Information Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage: • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak. • Never short circuit the battery terminals. • Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging. • If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision. 3 Let’s Build It! 1. 5 6 1 x2 3 1 2 4 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best!
