Battery Installation
Slide the soft giraffe up to access the battery
compartment.
Loosen the screws in the battery compartment
door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the
battery compartment door.
Insert three “C” (LR14) alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries
for longer battery life.
Replace the battery compartment door and
tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not over-tighten.
Slide the soft giraffe back down to cover the
battery compartment.
If this toy begins to operate erratically, you may
need to reset the electronics. Slide the power/
volume switch off and then back on.
When sounds or lights become faint or stop,
it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!
Protect the environment by not disposing
of this product with household waste
(2002/96/EC). Check your local authority
for recycling advice and facilities
(Europe only).
Battery Safety Information
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak
uids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin
your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of
different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc)
or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
Insert batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
Remove batteries during long periods of
non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries
from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not
dispose of the product in a fire. The batteries
inside may explode or leak.
Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
Use only batteries of the same or equivalent
type, as recommended.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy
before charging.
If removable, rechargeable batteries are
used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.

hub, as shown.
"Snap" the four leaves into the hub.

WARNING
To prevent entanglement injury,
never place the gym in a crib or playpen.
Never add strings, ties or other products to the gym.
• Hang the activity toys from loops or links around the gym.
• Slide the power/volume switch on the hub to on with low volume , on with
high volume , or off О.
• Slide the mode select switch on the hub to:
for music, lights and nature sounds.
for nature sounds and lights.
for baby-activated music. Lights and music respond to baby’s movement.
Storage and Care

Mat
Remove the arches and activity toys from the mat.
Machine wash the mat inside a pillow case in cold
water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Line
dry the mat.
Arches and Activity Toys
Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with a mild
soap and water solution. Do not immerse.
Pull the lower arch from the hub.
Fold the arches together.

• To set up again, pull the lower arch from the
hub and unfold the arches.
