Model:
Fluke 1507 and Fluke 1503
Product Name:
Insulation Tester
Instrument Description:
Insulation Resistance Testers
Memory Description:
The Fluke 1507 and 1503 each have a single memory device designated as U4.
This device is a Texas Instrument microcontroller, part number MSP430F427,
which contains 32K bytes of Flash memory and 1K byte of RAM. Program code
and calibration constants are stored in the Flash memory. The test lead "zero"
value is also stored in non-volatile Flash memory.
Memory Cleaning Instructions:
The test lead "zero" value is the only user controlled memory operation and is
preserved when the instrument is turned off. In order to clear the test lead "zero"
value, first turn the rotary switch to the Ohms position. With nothing plugged into
the input jacks, press and hold the blue button until the display shows >2.00.
Then release the button. There will no longer be a "ZERO" icon in the upper right
corner of the display.
