The CD-ROM, provided with the VR1710 Voltage Quality Recorder,
contains the necessary documentation for proper use and operation
of the product. If the CD-ROM does not start automatically when
inserted into your CD drive, double-click launch.exe on the CD-ROM.
If the CD-ROM is damaged or you are unable, for any reason, to
access product documentation from the CD-ROM, contact Fluke.

This Fluke product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year
from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover fuses, disposable batteries, or
damage from accident, neglect, misuse, alteration, contamination, or abnormal
conditions of operation or handling. Resellers are not authorized to extend any other
warranty on Fluke’s behalf. To obtain service during the warranty period, contact your
nearest Fluke authorized service center to obtain return authorization information, then
send the product to that Service Center with a description of the problem.

To avoid electrical shock or

Recorder, follow these
guidelines:
• Read this manual before
use and follow all safety
instructions.
• Use the Recorder only as
described in this User
Manual or the safety
features provided by the
Recorder may be impaired.
• Before each use, inspect
the Recorder for damage.
Look for cracks or missing
portions of it and the
cables. Do not used if
damaged.
• The Recorder is a direct-
plug in unit and must be
plugged only in applicable
and standard sockets.
Distribution circuits must
be fused.
• If there is reason to believe
that safe operation is no
longer possible, the
instrument should be
disconnected and secured
from unintentional
reconnection.
• The Recorder must be
opened only by qualified
personnel.
• Remove any input signals
before cleaning.
