Press this button to switch among DVD, MP3, IPOD and Radio,

When the unit is set to Radio mode, press this button to acquire the previous

To get the opsimum use out of your CD/DVD player, please read this section,

Adjusting the Volume:
To Increase or decrease the volume level, rotate the front panel PowerNolurne/
Mute (onlrol knob. The unit's lronl panel screen Will display the volume level lor
3 seconds The volume level ranges from O to 60
Navigation, Bluelooth, and 0nStar/Bluelink {if equrpped) volume (an be adjusted
Independently of the radio volume by rotating the Power/Volume/Mute control
knob The nawgation must be talking. Blueiooth must be in a call, and OnStar/
Bluelink must be attivated when making the volume adiustmenir when exiting
Nawgation, Bluetooth, and OnStar/Eluelink, the volume wull return to the previous
source volume level
Muting the Audio:
Press the front pane‘ power/Volume/Mute (onlrol knob lo mute ihe audio from
the unit The r Mute Indicator is displayed on the LCD screen Press the Power/
Volume/Mute control knob again to restore the audio volume to its prewous level
Adiusting the volume or using any ol the audio setup features cancels the mute

You have many ways to select a
destination. Select by touching screen:
- Tap [J “M to select your
destination by entering an address
or selecting a place of interest, a
location on the map or one of your
Favorite destinations. You can also
look up your recent destinations from
the Smart History, enter a coordinate
or use the location saved in a photo,
- Tap E "V “0““ to display the
route parameters and the route in its
full length on the map. You can also
perform route-related actions such
as editing or canceling your route,
setting a start point forthe route,
picking route alternatives, avoiding
parts ofthe route, simulating
navigation or adding the destination
to your Favorites.
- Tap + “M to customize the
way the navigation software works,
watch the Tutorial, simulate demo
routes. or to run some additional
applications.
- Tap 9mm” to start navigating
on the map, The button itself is a
miniature live map that shows your
current position, the recommended
route and the surrounding map area.

used for wireless phones hands free
applications Before attempting to use
the Bluetooth functions on the unit,
please make sure your wireless phone
supports Bluetooth functions.
We use the latest Parrot Bluetooth
Technology in order to offer you the
best connection, most features, and
easiest pairing, but all phones operate
differently Please read your phone's
owner's manual and familiarize yourself
with its available Bluetooth features
and functions Not all features Will work

and factory Bluetooth systems - The

TO ADJUST YOUR CALL’S VOLUME
To adjust the volume while in a call,
rotate the volume control knob. The call
will remain at this volume {or all future
calls and return to your preVIous source
volume when your call ends.

is turned up to iull while in a
Bluetooth call. Ifit is not full, it

Bluetooth Operation
PAIRING YOUR WIRELESS PHONE
Before using Bluetooth functions, you
must pair your wireless phone and the
unit Pairing is a special process used
when two devices connect for the first
time The pairing process is used to gen
erate a link key that is used for authenr
tication purposes forfuture Bluetooth
(onnections between deVIces,The unit
can pair five Bluetooth devices.
Yourwireless phone can be paired
With the unit In two manners. The unit
can initiate the search for compatible
domes and pair to the Wireless phone
or the wireless phone can initiate
the search and pair to the unit.The
following paragraphs describe both
methods,

from phone manufacturer to

To Pair a Wireless Phone to the Unit:
1. Press the front panel PHONE button
or press the Main Menu Bluelooth

Distribution Profile (AZDPl profile for
streaming music [mm a Wireless phone
or a Portable Multimedia Player (PMP).
