1、 Network Bridge Installation
(1)、AP mode:convert a wired network to wireless WIFI signal for other to connect to the
Internet
(2)、Repeater Mode:receive the remote wireless signal,and then transmit a wireless signal,
the terminal devices can receive can receive this signal by wireless way or web cable.
(3)、Router Mode:access a wired network of modem or switch, select the router mode, the
device can send out wireless WIFI signal and share with other terminal devices.
(4)、Client Mode:receive wireless WIFI signal, then convert wireless signal to a wired network,
the terminal devices connect to the network by web cable.
2、AP Mode settings
(1)、Select“AP mode”,then type in the IP Address, Subnet Mask and default gateway according
to your Router’s network address, click on “Next”.
(2)、Set your SSID name and select the type of oncryption, then click on “Apply”.
3、Bridge software interface
(1)、Open a browser and type in 192.168.10.1 and enter the login interface, the device provides
Chinese and English languages for choice ,the user name and password are both “admin” by
default.
(2)、Click to Login, enter the AP mode of the four working modes; here please select the
corresponding working mode depending on your type use.
4、Repeater Mode
(1)、Select the “Repeater Mode” ,enter the setting interface.
(2)、Click the next step, the device will scan the surrounding wireless signals; choose the SSID,
type in correct password and connect.
(3)、The Repeater was connected by upper wireless network password network, if need change
for new SSID, click the top” Function Settings” button, select Wireless Basic Parameter Settings”
page to modify the SSID name.
5、Router Mode
(1)、Select the “Router Mode”.
(2)、click the next step, and the connections have “DHCP”, ”Static IP”, ”PPPOE” three types.
Select the corresponding connection, click the next step depending on your network
environment.
(3)、Here take “PPOE” as an example, type in the ISP account user name and password correctly,
then click on “Next” to set up the SSID name and wireless password, click on “apply”
6、Client Mode
(1)、Select the “Client Mode” , click next step, the device will scan the wireless signal around
here.
(2)、Find the wireless signal to be connected, type in correct password to connect. Terminal
equipment can convert the received wireless signal to a wired network through the network
cable.
7、Frequently Asked Questions
(1)、How many voltage power does the product,? Some models do not have power inter face,
how to supply power?
A:Product Support 48V power supply, and some models do not have the power inter face, they
support 48V POE power supply.
(2)、The product has two RJ45 ports, which port is POE power supply inter face?]
A:The device LAN port for POE power supply interface.
(3)、Forget the IP address of the product, how to enter the setup interface?
A:(1).Connect the device to a computer, set the computer’s IP address as automatically obtain,
the obtained default gateway is the IP address of the device
(2).Long press the reset button for 5‐10 seconds, release after LED lamps off, wait for a while, LED
lamps are lit again, indicates successful restore factory settings, factory default gateway
IP:192.168.10.1
(4)、Way product has been ser as PPPOE but can not get on line after dialing?
A:When the product set as PPPOE dialing mode, the network cable need to connect to the
product WAN port.
(5)、Connect the computer with a network cable, local connection can not obtain an IP address,
how to do?
A:(1).When connecting a network cable, network cable must be connected to the LAN port of
the product, plugging WAN port can not obtain an IP address; also check whether the local
computer is automatically obtain IP address status.
(2)、Plugging the LAN port still can not obtain IP address, you can set the IP address of the local
connection manually, set the IP address as same segment of the product.
(6)、How long the cable length does the product support? Insufficient power occurs, how to
do?
A:When using a long cable, try to choose a high‐quality project dedicated wire, suggested, length
less than 60 meters, and use the original power supply.
(7)、The computer shows connected, the signal is full, but actually it can’ t surf the internet.
A:As long as the device power on, there will be a “Comfast” SSID name wireless signal. Even if
the device is disconnected to external network, we still are able to connect to this signal properly,
but no Internet access. Terminal devices require Internet access, then the product must connect
to external network.
(8)、What type of default working mode of the device? If use any of the working modes, need
restart it?
Answer: The default working mode is router mode, DHCP is enabled status, you can directly
access the DHCP enabled router or switch to use. In addition to setting AP mode which requires
resetting or manually setting the IP to enter the gateway of the device, other working modes can
directly get into the gateway.
