Power button
Press and hold this button to power on/o the
data terminal.
Volume button
Adjust the volume. When pressing this button
when there is an incoming call, the ringing will
become mute.

1. Open the back cover
2. Remove the battery
Please insert the battery before using the
data terminal. Make sure the data terminal is
turned off before the battery is removed from
the data terminal.
Q: How to you extend the standby time of
the data terminal
?
Answer:
1. If you do not need to use the WLAN or
Bluetooth, you can turn o the WLAN or Bluetooth.
Change this by going to settings > wireless and
network > WLAN or Bluetooth.
2. If you do not need to use GPS, you can turn
o the GPS. Go to settings > information location
access > GPS satellite.
3. Screen brightness and duration of sleep will
affect the standby time of the data terminal. You can
adjust these two settings by going to settings >
display.
4. Exit and shut down the applications that are
not in use.
5. Reduce the volume.
Q: How to free up data terminal memory?
Answer:
1. Move theles and e-mail attachments to the
Micro SD card.
2. Remove all cache pages and browsing history
information from the browser.
3. Uninstall the applications which are no longer
necessary.
Important tips
I
n order to avoid unneccessary harm, please note
the following information when using the data terminal.
Please use the original accessories and battery,
do not use incompatible products.
Keep the dry.
Please find qualied maintenance sta to repair
data terminal .
Please consult the connection method in the
instructions when connecting to other devices. Do
not connect to unsuitable devices.
Battery charging
The battery icon in the upper right corner of the
screen shows electricity quantity or charging status,
you can also choose to show the percentage of
electricity quantity.
(Trick in the select box in setting > battery >
electricity quantity percentage)
Please charge by using the attached charger
connected to a power outlet or connecting to a
computer with a USB cable.
Please do not turn on the data terminal where
wireless devices are forbidden to use, including
aircrafts,medical facilities and medical equipment
indicating not to use data terminal .
Please do not turn on the data terminal where it
may cause interference or danger, such as around
petrol stations, fuel or chemicals, blasting areas, etc.

Connect the data terminal
to the computer
Connect to the computer with a USB cable, open
the data storage though the pop-up window or
drop-down notication bar. While using the data
storage, a part of the program cannot be used, such
asle management, etc.
Open the back cover
Gently pull the opening in the lower left corner
of the N5000 outwards to remove the back cover.
Insert or remove the battery
Align the battery metal contact entrance with
the body battery contactor. Press down to insert
the battery. To remove the battery, pull the battery
out of the recess at the bottom or the battery
compartment.
1. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may
explode.
2. The battery can be charged and discharged over
500 times. If the battery life is unreasonably short,
please replace the battery with a new one.
3. Use only the included battery and AC adapter.
4. Do not continue to charge a battery that is fully
charged. Overcharging will shorten battery lifespan.
If a fully charged battery is not used, it will discharge
slowly, which does not affect its normal use.
5. Do not use damaged or faulty AC adapters or
batteries.
6. Properly dispose of and recycle batteries. Do not
dispose of them as household garbage.

e FCC RF Exposure Information and Statement
The SAR limit for body is 1.6W/kg, for limbs is 4.0W/kg.
Device types: DataTerminal (FCCID:SL9N5000)
has also been tested against this SAR limit. The highest
reported SAR value for body is 0.091W/kg, and for limbs
is 0.410W/kg.
This device was tested for
typical body-worn operations with the back of the handset
kept 1.0cm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC
RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain
a 1.0cm separation distance between the user's body and
the back of the handset. The use of belt clips, holsters and
similar accessories should not contain metallic components
in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy
these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure
requirements, and should be avoided.
f Body-worn Operation
This device was tested for typical body-worn operations.
To comply with RF exposurerequirements, a minimum
separation distance of 1.0cm must be maintained between
the user’s body and the handset, including the antenna.
Third-party belt-clips, holsters, and similar accessories used
by this device should not contain any metallic components.
